Any Howard fans up there in Canada? I can't wait to see what the Canadian govt. does this time. We'll see starting next Monday.

Hi,
Do they have "caller ID" on their system? I recently purchased a Starmate Replay and I want to get a USA subscription. Should I be carefull about this?

Thanks,
Joe

Just subscribe online; use a US address and an email like Gmail, etc.

Hi,
Does the radio has to be on if I register on-line. I tried it temporally in the car in order to see where I should place the antenna. I was driving around and checking the meter and changing the antenna location until I got the right position.

If I register on-line, do I have to leave it on in the car for a couple of hours or it will download the information automatically the next time I will get in the car and turn it on?

Sorry, I'm all new to this and it's getting exciting.

Thanks,
Joe

Just make sure you have a good signal first.
Make sure you have the serial number written down.
You can then turn it off and go inside and subscribe online. After that is done, you can go back to the car and turn the radio back on. It might take a few minutes to receive the updates, but it will work.
There is no two way communication between the satellite and your radio. Sirius just adds your serial number to the data stream. With your # in the stream the signal will unlock your channels.
Good luck.

I have a US address now. I'm paying with a Canadian AMEX credit card. Do you know if they can find out? Are they screaning the credit card to see if they are from a canadian account ?

I just want to be safe and not have my receiver put on a black list with Sirius.

Thanks,
Joe

you might have problems if the address on your credit card does not match the US address you are using. not sure on this one as i use a cc that has a US address. luckily i have a place in the US also.

Worked fine for me, Sirius double billed me.
Fixed that problem, I think he double credited me.

Anyways, good going CSR! Woot!
