I guess it appears the Sirius Canada's not getting the Playboy Channel like we're getting in the 'States. That sucks if you ask me, I wonder how many grey market subs will arise from that one .

Since they are limited in the number of US channels they can carry, the obvious question is: What are they dropping?

I like the sound of "Disorder". But that's just my musical taste more than anything.

I doubt I'll tune in to the other three. But it is nice to see that Sirius is continuing to add channels.

I thought I read somewhere that Playboy was going to be a "free opt-in" channel for the US subs. Maybe they'll do the same thing for Canadians. Those who want it can get it, and those who don't can shut their mouths.

Again, like Stern, I probably won't listen anyway. But it should be available for those who want to.

I'll think I'll like Disorder too.

I did a quick count, and found that they're currently 9.4 to 1 on the ratio, so I suppose 9.8 to 1 is still kinda 9:1

The Playboy Channel is a free opt-in, for the U.S. line-up. So maybe it will get offered. But if it wasn't shown in the official release, then it makes me wonder.

So Sirius US is dropping 3 channels too? Great! That means the new channels won't be at the expense of sound quality.

wow the canadian service carried Sirius Right?

whats with that. Why would they put an american political talk channel on a canadian service. That space would be better served with music or maybe even howard 101 since hes moving most of his programming from 100 to 101.

The CSR listed the US changes. Playboy's not coming to Canada, and she didn't mention the Canadian addition of Disorder.

I would tend to agree - I have received "canned" responses from Sirius in the past that are applicable to US subscribers, even though I clearly identified myself as a Canadian subscriber.

I guess we'll have to wait a couple of days and see what turns up!

With all the channels being added/removed, and with Canadians only getting 100 channels (10 which must be the Canadian channels), I wish they would make the 10 Canadian channels mandatory, then allow us to pick our remaining 90 channels. That way people would get Stern (before they allowed it), Playboy, and any other music channels that are currently not on the list but people would want.

I'm talking about it being like Satellite TV or Cable TV where you can pick your own packages. I'm just not sure if Satellite Radio is capable of such a thing. I would be nice to get some music channels that are offered in the US but cut off from our list.
