Default FM Station from Barrie to Toronto?

Can anyone give me an idea as to what FM station you use for reception, I keep having to flip between stations and to be honest with you its a pain in the butt.....Thanks,

There are none. Eventually whichever you choose will be populated somewhere. Go with a relay that cuts off the external antenna.

I've been running 88.1 for as long as Ive had my Sirius and have only had some small interference in a few places.

Guelph, Ganaoque and very briefly in London.

I havent experienced any issues on the 400 with that station.

The FM relay connects to the back of your car radio which switches between regular FM (when Sirius is off) and Sirius only (when Sirius is on) and will not only boost sound quality but you won't hear any static.

Yeah, if you know how to take apart your car dashboard to get into the back of your radio.

I use 90.5 comuting between Barrie and Bradford , where I get killed reception wise is coming back into Barrie , as I live real close to that huge antenna by the A channel building and the FM wash floods out what ever I am listening to.

Try 87.9, It's all I ever use, in that area and basically everywhere, T.O included, and I've had no problems at all. I've never had to switch channels.

Some of the old radios will let you use 87.9, but the new ones that Sirius is releasing (ex: ones with universal docks) will only support 88.1-107.9MHz.

I'm using 96.9 and it works great for me.
But also the antenna on my car retracts into the a-pillar and that's how I leave it.
My brother took the antenna off his car altogether and that helped.

I just did this drive on Friday and only had interference once (while talking on my Mike phone) besides the airport on the 401

I have a sportster replay and use 87.9 with the fm attenna attached and have never had an issue. Without the antenna I have to change channels all the time.

I use one of those tapes that hooks in to the mic out of the Stiletto. Much better option imo than fiddling with the FM dial.
