Default US subscription on Canadian Receiver

I just bought a Sportster 4 in Canada and was wondering if it is possible to activate a CANADIAN receiver on a US subscription.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks!

I have had the following Canadian radio's on my US sub

Starmate x 1
Sirius One x 2
Starmate Replay x 2

I've added them online as well as by radio swap on the phone and had no problem. I think you only get the Canadian channel content even though you sign up for a US sub. Not sure if that has changed or not.

The new radio's should be the same.

P.S. Make up an address in a state with no sales tax and save a bit.
I signed up last year online with no problems and used a Canadian credit card. I bought a S50 from Sirius this year and had a problem with my credit card billing address not matching the shipping address. I just had to call Visa and have them add an alternate address onto my info.

Good Luck

I have a Canadian-purchased Stiletto 100 activated on my US account. I get all of the US channels (and most of the Canadian ones, too).

so you get all the traffic channels and weather channels? I have a US sub and I was going to buy a cdn unit, but if I can pull this off, then it saves me a trip to the states

I bought a sportster replay from bestbuy yesterday. Activated it and it works great. I might as well dispell some myths in a new thread about this.
