It's been a long time since I listened to this music but back in the day my favorites were:

1. Rez Band - saw them in concert - http://www.resurrectionband.com/
2. Steve Taylor - saw him live twice
3. Degarmo & Key - saw them live once
4. Stryper - saw them live once

By the way Stryper is back with a new CD. Steve Talor was always interesting, he had some deep meaningfull songs. When I saw him one time live, it was an accoustic performance at a church, kind of like a release party. I bought the CD that just came out that night.

Well all those bands were popular in the 80s, that's when I got into the music. I think it was about 1985 or so. I got into the music for about two years or so. Which Degarmo and Key CD did you have? The last one of theirs that I bought had been the Charge of the Light Brigade. I thought that was the best they ever did. I wish these bands had been out when CDs were more popular because I had all of these on LP and only a few on CD.

I don't remember the name actually since I didn't listen that much and haven't hear it in years. If you named it I would probably remember it.

BTW, doesn't Steve Taylor write some of the Newsboys songs?

My two favorite Christian artist are Ben Harper and Prince. I would classify them as Christian artist because they do include a ton of christian oriented music on their albums. I loved the cd Ben Harper did with the Blind Boys of Alabama and equally loved the Rainbow Children by Prince. If you haven't checked these out, you should.
