Inspirational programming that appeaks to people of Protestant, Catholic and Messianic Jewish denominations, and offers listeners the finest Bible teachers and preachers heard anywhere.

I did, too. Hopefully they'll have something soon. Really talk, not just preaching.

You'd think taht if they add a channel to the lineup they'd have all the channels set up. I wonder what's up, but yes they are just streaming EWTN on it right now.

pops_porter, I like your Avatar! I'm a big time Vikings fan.

Anyways, my 2 cents, I'd like to hear preachers like John MacArthur, John Piper, RC Sproul, and Adrian Rogers; preachers that preach the Word of God.

I sure hope that this channel doesn't have "Catholic" programming as it says in the description of the channel. Catholics already have a channel that they can turn to if they want to hear a Catholic programming. They need to have a channel dedicated to Protestants.

same here....i want to hear sermons and christian talk shows...not another EWTN (seriously, Christian Talk is just relaying EWTN today).

oh yeah, when i tuned my reciever to the channel, it said "New Religious Music and Talk Coming Soon To SIRIUS"...so maybe they're working out contract issues with some talk shows?

Yeah, what's up with that? With all the hype about the new lineup, you would think they would be ready and have something programmed for the channel. I was very disappointed this morning when all I heard was duplication from EWTN.

I know that they are currently playing EWTN, I was referring to where it says, "...programming that appeals to people in a wide variety of Protestant, Catholic and Messianic Jewish denominations; "

That makes it sound like it will have Catholic programs. :\

John McArthur - good preacher?

He split a lot of churches with Lordship Salvation and his remarks about Christ's blood.

Sproul - he's OK but a little too reformed.

I hope this channel becomes representative of all Christian perspectives and has programmes from Episcopal, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist, UCC and Disciples of Christ denominations, which are moderate to liberal. So far everything looks conservative or fundamentalist.

Usually I avoid Christians stations because they only represent one religious pov. There are many practising Christians who are gay, liberal, socialist, don't have problems with evolution, pacificist or approach the Bible from a historical-critical perspective and we never seem to have much of a voice on Christian channels.

A channel with all perspectives may actually help people understand each other better.

I like REVOLUTION.. it's an awesome channel thats added on my saved present list... praise was good but they played mostly soft, contemporary christian bands like Point of Grace, etc.. and all the other slow soft music which is great but i don't really want to listen to that type. I want to listen to some of my favorite christian bands like POD, Jars of Clay, 12 Stones, Chevelle, etc... so me personally, i'm glad we have a new christian rock station REVOLUTION, and i hope it's here to stay forever!!!!
just my thought on that. thanks.

Wrong channel. You want Revolution 67. Great review, though.

Now they're just simulcasting Praise on 159. At least, they were last time I checked, which was yesterday.
