Sirius, unfortunatly, does not focus on Country, just rock.
They need to rethink their programing before everyone moves over to XM.

No chance of that happening. There are more people who switch from XM to Sirius than vice versa.

I subscribe to both services. XM's Country is only slightly better than Sirius's, and that's just because of Hank's Place. If XM got rid of HP or reformatted it, Sirius would actually have the best Country programming.

I completly dissagree with you. 100% !

There is nothing even close to XM's X Country on Sirius, and all the Sirius country is either Soutern Redneck Rock or homoginized over produced mainstream Nashville country. XM offers several eclectic country channels.

Also, due to Sirius's most recent channel updates (9-29-05) I too subscirbe to both XM and Sirius, prior to that I was a serious Sirius fan.
No more :-(

Your opinion and seventy five cents will get you a cup of coffee at Waffle House. Enjoy!

The rest of the tripe you posted doesn't even deserve a response.

Children ! you're all children.
Why does anyone bother to post on this forum.
If it's not all kissy kissy ass Sirius talk, it's no time for discussion.
Go listen to Howards farts sounds while everyone else moves over to XM.

As usual, you XM fanboys have it a$$ backwards.

Sirius has beaten XM on retail sales for the last few months.

It's only going to get worse with the arrival of Stern and Stewart. The Starmate Replay is selling like hotcakes, and the S50 will be available shortly. Advanced reservations on the S50 are outstanding. The Xact Visor is selling well, and their Replay will be soon.

Meanwhile, XM has no adequate response to Stern, and their NeXus won't be available until after Christmas.

Sirius will make major subscriber gains over XM for the next few months. So you're dreaming if you think everybody is moving over to XM. You are 100% wrong!

This is a Sirius fan site, so it's not rocket science that a lot of people here will defend their service against the drivel spouted by XM fanboys. Nobody is forcing you to post here.

Your talking to a once Sirius fanatic. Sirius gave up on the music.
I was a Sirius fan. Sirius has forced me to realize how much better the music is on XM. Sirius has lost it's focus on the music. I guess that's why I'm so upset. I was never a fan of XM until recently.

Still no room for discussion on this site, unless it's to praise rock or Stern.

Get with it Sirius !

I subscribe to both services, and I say Sirius STILL has better programming overall than XM has EVER had.

Your BS opinion means no more than anybody elses.

Sirius hasn't lost its focus or given up on squat.

If you're not happy with the service, cancel it! Hanging around at a Sirius fan site griping about alleged problems, will do NOTHING to improve your perceived shortcomings.

Well, you have all those capitalized words, so it must be true.

Your unprovoked personal attack and inappropriate name-calling has been noted.

Sorry, little buddy--but I'm not going to stoop to your level by responding in kind.

See ya!

I agree ! XM's country is simply outstanding.

I've renamed Roadhouse on Sirius as Dinosaur Country.

Default Miss HP

I'd rather have HP, but I'll manage. What I don't care for is the removal of the folk channel and having "Cowboy Troy" pop up on my receiver. I understand that the genre is stretched a bit much on "New Country" w/ "Big and Rich", but it sounded like I had the hophop channel on.

Give me some more of the oldies.

I also wouldn't miss the DJs telling me about the other channels. I have a guide. I can scroll through them. Less talk, more music.

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm trying to slam Sirius. 12 bucks a month is still a much better deal than what's on FM.
