I just got an e-mail from Sirius... It says:

I didn't ORDER the high bandwidth online streaming!!!! The message appears real.. They have all my information and account number correct. What I noticed at the end in the account portion it says:

Product 1: Demo Internet Radio HIGHBANDWIDTH
Purchase Date: Fri Aug 22 16:30:12 2008
Amount: 0
Taxes: 0
Total: 0

It looks like I've been signed up for a free demo.. Has anyone else here received a similar mail or an e-mail from Sirius "upgrading" them to the premium online streaming?????? For what it's worth, I don't think I'm receiving the premium stream.. My Sirius Player shows "Playing 32K bits/s". I think that's what I've always been getting.

When signed in on the online streaming, click the 'premium' button on the player and see if it goes. If it does, you got free premium! Otherwise, report it to Sirius that you got this email.

I called in to Sirius because I got this message also but did not do the upgrade. The gentleman on the phone was not sure why this was happening but he had had 5 phone calls just that day for this issue and they were still investigating how it happened or why.

I never noticed the Premium button before .. When I click on it, I get a screen that gives me the option to upgrade to premium for $2.99 a month. Obviously something is wrong somewhere.. I guess I'll have to do like gasman882001 did and call customer service and let them know. I don't listen online that often so I don't want to see an extra $2.99 appear on my bill.

If you don't want the premium, then don't push the upgrade button.

Did you at any time have a stratus SV3? The class action settlement was approved this month.

I actually received the free month of service card last week and the upgrade to Premium.

"Notification Given Pursuant to Court Order of the San Diego Superior Court"

You are receiving this email because it appears that you may have purchased a Sirius Model Stratus SV3 that represented on the box that Sirius' "My GameZone" feature could be received on that model, when in fact such feature was not included on that receiver. If so, you are a member of a class in a class action lawsuit recently settled and the settlement was preliminarily approved by the Court.
That settlement, if given final approval by the Court, will provide to you and all other class members:

(1) a free upgrade from standard internet audio (32 Kbps) to Internet Radio Premium Audio (128 Kbps) for the remainder of your existing Sirius Satellite Radio subscription; and

(2) a card redeemable for one month of free service upon renewal of your Sirius Satellite Radio subscription (the card may be used together with other valid offers by Sirius at the time of renewal) associated with the Sirius Model Stratus SV3. The card is transferable; however, a subscriber or transferee may only use one card (cards may not be aggregated), and the card may only be used in connection with the renewal of an existing subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio.

Yes.. That's it.. I did have an SV3 and did get the class action letter. I forgot about that.. I haven't got the discount card in the mail yet.

That's good news.. I have a 2 year sub and my subscription doesn't end until October 2009 so it will be nice to have premum internet until then I can't access the premium stream yet, but I'll definitely be getting Sirius to fix that....

I received this letter a while ago and thought it said I would be getting the premium internet radio by September 4th...it is September 3rd and I still have no sign of premium radio or the email that some received. Anyone else with this problem?

I believe it is a seperate login for the internet plus that was set up for you. You should still have your free login as usual and then a second one for the premium listening... just give them a call and they can provide you with the new username and password that will allow you to access the plus
