Where the f*ck is Boombox and backspin? I am not happy about the direction that Sirius is taking.

That's it. I've had it. As soon as Howard is done, I am done. Not a very good way to retain customers, Sirius!

No more Buzzsaw!? No more Backspin!? Most importantly, no more Disorder!!!!!!!!???? Bulls&@t!!!!

Buzzsaw being gone is a definite deal breaker for me. That was my favorite music channel and it means we are now down one classic rock channel.

Can't say I like the generic "decade" theme of those channels as much as Sirius's making them each more unique. Are the original VJ's gone from 8? THAT would also be a deal breaker.

All in all, I've been a Sirius subscriber since 2004, and I may be canceling. I don't like the new lineup, the sound quality DEFINITELY had a more "tinny" quality this morning, and can't see why I should spend $13/month when I can plug an Ipod into my car.

Thumbs down

I'm SO disappointed that they got rid of Boombox for some pop channel. I'll be calling their customer service to voice my opinion, for what that's worth.

At least Left of Center just got a name change, and Chill seems untouched. Those 3 channels are the ones I keep a subscription for.

Feeling kinda stupid that I renewed just a couple weeks ago for the 2 year plan.

I had a co worker I had just recently turned on to Sirius, mostly Backspin. He got XM with his new vehicle and was going to switch because of Backspin, now he's not sure he will keep either service. They need to get rid of these one group 24/7 stations and bring back the better ones. If I want to hear one group/person's entire discography I will download it and throw it on the ipod.

Amazing that the genius Mel has been able to alienate all the customers of both XM and Sirius within months of the merger.

Default these changes suck

4 years ago i made the mistake of getting XM, after 3 weeks, I cancelled it and got Sirius.
I mainly listen to the 80s channel. The Sirius channel back then was so far superior, now,
it is back to the XM way, and it is horrible. Casey Kasum sucks, and the music is shit I would change on commercial radio. Gone are the popular tracks. Same with Left of Center.
XM U is horrible. I hope enough people complain that Sirius changes back their decades channels to the way they were, or after Howard is done, I am gone. Hell if they don't resign
Bubba, i may go ahead and cancel my subs.
80s repeats are great!

Default No Backspin 43

I can not expess my disappointment of when I hit the preset on my radio and it read empty. Thinking it was somehow deleted, I manually tuned and realized it was gone. This could be a deal breaker for me. Not having a "Classic Rap" station to me is akin to dropping the 60s and 70s rock channels. Bring it back!

Lithium is starting to become a bit of a disappointment to me (on top of the aforementioned stations) this is the channel I primarily listen to. So far this week I have noticed that songs are being censored....they go from Tool, NIN (or the like) to Bob Marley or the Back Street Boys???????????

I am not upset with the new lineup because all the channels I listened to on both services are still there, I just wish we could find a way exclusively use XM's sats because of them being geostationary.

I noticed last week that they had changed the channel lineup. I lost Buzzsaw and Moving Easy, two of my favorite stations. Buzzsaw was replaced by Boneyard which is an AC/DC channel until January. While I like AC/DC I don't need them 24/7. I hope Boneyard is equivalent to Buzzsaw or else I will be pissed. as is I can't get the music I loved on Buzzsaw until at least January providing Boneyard plays the same type of music. The fact I have to go two month without is pissing me off. These one artist stations are the friggin pits and need to stop.

As for Moving Easy I am told that The Blend, Escape and Sirius Love are stations I can listen to instead of Moving easy. May I say this option is a travesty. First off none of these stations the variety Moving easy did. they may play some songs from Moving Easy but not everything Moving easy did. Secondly, Escape is nothing but elevator music. This is supposed to be one of the replacements, Please!!!!

Presently, the fact I lost two of my favorite stations is making me wonder if Sirius is worth keeping. I have kpt it to this point because I get music I just can't get on regular radio. While to some extent that is true killing the two stations I liked makes less true. For me my choices of stations has now become limited. This is not what I expected from Sirius. Great way to treat a loyal customer.

Now, I did e-mail customer care to complain but the response I received was bull. They told me how concerned they are and I can still request songs to hear what I want. Hello, before I didn't have to request songs to get what I wanted. All I had to do was turn on the station. Now that option is gone and I have to do more work and hope a friggin DJ plays the song I asked for. Huh?

Just to show how Sirius seems to not get it I am posting the e-mail response I received:
