Apparently they changed the stream urls yesterday.

May be a good time to subscribe. You get free access to the streams if you are a subscriber.

Thanks for the stupid answer.

If I had problems with what you imply, I would have asked in the
"Listen to Sirius Live Streams uninterrupted!" thread.

I'm sorry but the streams are no long available through back-door methods. Non-subscribers were adding considerable bandwidth expense and Sirius could no longer front the cost. Sirius has been very kind to let everyone listen for free up until now, I think the least we can do is subscribe to the service in order to support the artists and the company.

If you are already a subscriber then it shouldn't be a problem because you continue to get full access to the streams via the website.

I don't really understand your reply, I take it you took offense to my answer?

I dont know much on this topic , but I thought they could multiplex the strem so no matter how many users listened the bandwith leaving sirius would be the same as one.

Sorry for my curt reply...
It just bothers me when people jump to conclusions...

As a subscriber or as a "timed out" nonsubscriber.. the streams don't work for me. I was just asking if they worked for others...

In another post you mentioned PNP was availble.
Where? What?

Yep, sorry they are not working for anyone through WMP. I did not mean to imply that you were abusing the streams, it's just that there are millions of people who had been listening for free and I'd love to see Sirius gain them as subscribers.

I would love to be able to use WMP as much as you would, because quite frankly I don't like the media player on their website, but it simply isn't cost effective anymore.

In the other thread, I was referring to the one's that were demoed at CES. They should be available this spring. I'd rather them be available for sale right now, but as long as they are on the way I can work with that.

Rock on...
