LOL, Sirius isn't even offered in Hawaii! Can you receive it there? Oh yeah, and Hawaii isn't even another nationality.

I think Hawaiian/Surf Style Music would be a great format for Sirius Session. If they were to bring back the rotating musical themes.

Sorry I did notice you live in Idaho and I love Idaho! I have spent quite a bit of time there.

If you mean by Nationality the ethnic music, I think that would be a cool addition at least part time to a stream.

I took Nationality literally and since they are part of the USA, they would be the same Nationality. It's the engineer in me that makes me do this

I have family in Boise by the way. I don't envy the weather, but there is lots of outdoor activities there, especially fishing, camping, and skiiing.

How long have you lived in ID?

I'd LOVE to host a Hawaiian Music Show! It'd be a huge change from Octane, but it would be an absolute BLAST!

I would love to hear a Hawaiian station. Also, how about Asian and Pacific Islands?? There would be alot of support in the many Asian communities that Sirius could cover.
San Francisco, and Toronto both have HUGE Asian communities. I'm talking Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Phillipines, etc, all on one stream. That would be fabulous.
And would also help with my Japanese Language class at college ;-)

You know I have been amazed that there isn't one channel that is Asian. There are millions are Chinese here.

It could be news, entertainment and music rolled into one.

Maybe we'll get lucky with the new Vacation channel that is supposed to play Hawaiian music.

I've requested Hawaiian songs (the Horizon channel seemed most appropriate as songs played on the Tropical channel are not even close to Hawaiian) but the only song from a Hawaiian artist that I've heard played is “Over the Rainbow” by the late, great Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole. It's a great song, but of course its not Hawaiian.

Hearing his great voice is better than nothing, but I have high hopes for the Vacation channel playing his, along with other artists real Hawaiian songs. I hope we won't be dissappointed!

This long-time, just resurrected thread never fails to remind me of Punchy in the old Hawaiian Punch ads!

Want some Hawaiian Punch?

You'll definitely get your dose of Hawaiian on Vacation. I can't wait to hear it as well.
