...Not yet, but as of Monday a week...

Also, I have seen the same thing many times. Go to a Big Box. Find XM playing. Switch to Sirius. Watch the clerks nearly kill each other getting over to switch back. What gives? Does XM feed them cookies?

They gotta work on the production lines too, a quick check to circuitcity and best buy shows that there are no sirius units within like a 20 mile radius of my house.

They probably just don't like listening to the Vortex all day. If you had selected a stream that was similar to the one they were playing on XM, they probably wouldn't have been as likely to rush back to switch it.

If I wanted to mess with the clerks using the XM stuff, I would have flipped the tuner to Frank's Place and watched the display get over run by Grand Marquis owners.

Wait.....

Remember that a lot of people that go to CES are press reporters, including many magazine and newspaper columnists, website operators and the like. Many that saw the new Sirius products at CES will report about them in trade magazines, consumer magazines, and on music and tech websites. This will help rapidly spread the name recognition that Sirius has.

wxgirl,

Cool. Thanks a lot, that's great info. I don't know why I didn't hear that statement.

Being at the CES myself, and going to both Sirius and XM's exhibits. I can tell you both were fantastic!! I have given the edge to Sirius tho, as it seemed more high tech and visually appealing. The crowds were huge at Sirius, even without the concerts. The buzz was there, and yes, many people in the industry and media were there and they seemed impressed. When you have to stand in line to look at new products and hear Sirius reps talk, then you know something good is going on. This wasnt the same at every exhibit either.. .Sirius was a showcase and beehive of activity!! Even the "bad" press of concerts being too loud was actually good press!! The feel and talk was good, I hope to go back next year again!!
