Default bro selling dog to a friend

my bro's goin to the University Park campus of PSU this coming semester and he's gonna do a lot more walking/public transportation than driving his Civic. That plus his fear of his PnP getting stolen up there, he didn't see the point in keeping SIRIUS while he was up there...plus he's considering taking classes non-stop year round.

Just making sure this is okay, I was planning on calling SIRIUS to get his service canceled(on my account), after which he was gonna sell his equipment to a friend to reactivate. Will SIRIUS let ya do that?

Also, I installed the SIRSWB inline to his Civic, but his head unit was a major PITA to remove. If I were to just tuck all the wiring away and electrical tape off the PnP lead, would he be okay as far as FM static issues or is it a better decision to go through the whole process of ripping out his HU to remove it?

No problem. I have sold and bought used (been activated once) units with no problem. If you don't have the unit on when you deactivate on the phone the unit will continue to work for a couple hours the next time you turn it on (then it will automatically deactivate it's self.) but is great for demo.

The SIRSWB is fine to leave in, just tape off or shrink wrap the end.

It is no problem except for one possible situation, and that is if his radio is under a contract from the F&F deal or a 1 year discounted plan, then there could be a cancellation fee of $75.
