Default History Channel Radio

History Channel is one of my favorite channels...especially since discovery and TLC have been playing motorcycle reality and house improvement shows (trading spaces and the 40 other spin offs) all day long.

History Channel, I think, can be easily converted into radio. You can play all the normal history programs along with the Modern Marvels and shows of that sort.

I just like to learn something while being entertained. I thought Discovery Radio would do this but I'm stuck listening to crap about Weddings, losing weight, and reality motorcycle shows just like on TV. Discovery Channel was great before all these crappy shows. It is called Discovery..so let me Discover something!

Anyway, I think Sirius should think siriusly about the History Radio idea and also fix the Discovery Radio problem.

I would totally listen to the History Channel on the radio. They have so many good programs, I could sit at home and watch it all day. However, since I have a job and commute to work, I would love to listen to it on the radio.

Good idea!

Now there is a decent idea. Hell I'd tune in from work all the time.. being able to tune into Modern Marvels while sitting in a cube all day would be cool.

I seem to remember either XM or Sirius had History Channel content at one point in time. Don't know what happened to it though...

SIRIUS had it.

But it's now ... um ... history.

Sirius carried History Channel radio programming when A&E Satellite Radio was part of the Sirius package. We lost it a year or so ago. I personally liked A&E. I especially enjoyed some of the "Biography" shows, which were edited for a radio broadcast. As I recall, they also provided a lot of history and military related programming. I'd love to see A&E brought back.

It would be a real plus to have "History Channel" content available. I do miss it from last year.

I would also listen in to this station, good idea. Since Sirius already had it and took it away they may be more reluctant to bring it back.

Default While we're at it..

ADD:
Beatles Channel (Elvis who???)
The Biography Channel
Bravo
CNN Headline News
NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX Network feeds (except when contracted events such as sports are on) 4 feeds x 3 time zones with little or no work! It would be nice to be able to hear my favorite TV shows while driving.

DROP
E! Entertainment Radio
Any of the religious programming (too much FM bandwidth wasted already on this!)
