Default Changes in the lineup are coming this summer!

With the upcoming addition of RadioMargaritaville this summer, the end of Air America on Sirius, me thinks this isn't the only shuffling thats going around this Summer... oh no.. I predict some more shuffling. Your favorite channel may not be safe. Name changes, merging, channels going, new formats are in the works.....

Get ready to "update" those radios

one thing I like to see change is replacing soe of the soft hits channels souch as the bridge, movin easy, starlite & sirius Love. Now I am not saying that these are bad channels I like them myself. But heck they all just about play the same songs, Plus to me are the same format why do we need 4 stations playing one format of music. It's over kill to me

I find great differences between Starlight and the Bridge. Sirius Love and Moving EZ could probably be mergec, but each one of these have a different' "feel" to them so I'm sure they have their own unique following.

They should just combine Sirius Love and Starlite. The cool thing would be starlite during the work day and then have Sirius Love on all night. We have a station here that does that with Pillow Talk every night.

Sounds like a good plan, they need to keep their paws off The Bridge!

Sirius is in its infancy, we all have to expect changes to happen.

Plus, changes to the service usually result in some pretty intense discussions on the forums, which has high entertainment value in its own right

Is it a given that Air America is going away? I thought that was still to be determined.

Dab,

I am full of good ideas !! Sirius needs me to pay me as a consultant. I still wish they would combine Backspin with the old Express and have one giant Backspin.

They need to nurture Starlight, not combine it with anything. It needs to standalone as a light pop station that has it's mix of crossover country.

Default Sirius lineup

Any idea if an old skool/funk channel will be included in the new lineup or will the thousands of subscribers who enjoy this genre continue to be ignored?

As far as I know, the only changes are the ones announced, adding Radio Margaritaville, and deleting Air America. I don't know if there is a large channel reallignment planned. I would be surprised if there was.

I'm looking forward to the debut of the long-awaited Bagel Network. And also The Sign Language Channel.
