Default How long to activate?

Does it take to activate? If I were to buy tomorrow, would it work tomorrow?

How do I find out if sirius will work in certain areas (vacation places and such)?

Yeah it will work the day you get it. It only takes 5-10 minutes to activate.

For them to setup your account it takes about 5 to 10 minutes, but the actual activation takes about 30 seconds to a minute from the time that they send it to the tuner. Sirius has THE very best activation system out there.

The activation is EXCELLENT. If you call in to do it the radio is ON before you hang up. Make sure you turn your radio ON and aim the antenna to get a signal before you make the activtion call. When i activated i had trouble with the website and had to call. I told CS i tried to activate online and had trouble. They only charged me the online activation rate.

Yeah activation is short and painless and your reciver should start to work in less then 10 mins of activating your reciver.

I activated over the phone. It was Sunday and I don't have an internet connection at home. The phone connection was bad and I could barely hear the Sirius person. I didn't get that part about having the radio turned ON. I had to leave it on the next day when I went to work (they don't allow radios of any sort) and call in to get it activated again. When I went home, I found out it had been successfully activated.

My advice: if you are away from your receiver when you activate it, don't delay. The antenna pointing doesn't last and you may lose the signal and not get activated if you take too long.
