Default Canadian Sirius

I was wondering if anybody new how they were going to do
this. I cant find any info, but from what I herd that Sirius and
others will not be useing Sat. for the signal but will use towers
to me that makes no sence at all it would be no better than Fm
for a coverage area

You will receive Sirius' signal via satellite unless you live in a major city. In major cities such as Toronto and Montreal you will receive a signal from a repeater. The repeater merely rebroadcasts the feed that comes from the satellites to prevent buildings and other things from blocking the signal. XM will also use the same set-up. The only company that planned to use terrestrial towers was CHUM.

AmuN is an unknown quantity at this point

the satellite signal is full for me while driving anywhere around DT toronto. The only thing that blocks the signal is when you're on lakeshore under the gardiner
