Default Anyone record off their plug-and-play?

I want to record a show off Sirius onto my PC. Right now I have my plug-and-play coming giving off an FM signal into a walkman with a radio that is plugged into the mic-in on my PC. I would like to record about 3 hours of a NFL show. Is there a free program out there that can do this that won't crush my computer performance as I will be using my work computer?

Thanks.

you should be able to run the cable that your using from the walkman to the pc with your PNP and not have to use the walkman. you would get better sound quality.
i believe you can modify winamp settings to take the audio in from your soundcard and write to a wav or mp3. i dont have winamp right in front of me atm so i cant tell you the exact steps. i know the codec that writes the mp3 is the nullsoft disc writer. look around the settings menu for it.

Yeah, I know it would be much better to have it directly hooked up but the signal the plug and play is pushing out is too much for the mic in jack and it sounds very distorted.

My girlfriend just got me this thing called; Xitel "INport"

its a converter that gets pluged out of your stereo and into the USB input of your computer and it allows you to record from your stereo.

I have my receiver pluged into my stereo and i record shows that i miss while i'm sleeping or at work. It's awsom.
