Default i think i'm coming back. i miss channel 124

i left sirius about two months ago when i bought my new truck which has xm. my free trial ends next month so i think i am coming back. here a few observations and comparisons:

- i live in baton rouge, la. my sirius had dropouts when stopped at red lights underneath overpasses, etc. my xm does the same thing but ALSO has a lot of dropouts while driving in heavily treed neighborhoods like the one in which i happen to live. advantage sirius

- xm may have a slight edge when it comes to hip hop music, imo. yet i like sirius' overall music selection. overall music = advantage sirius

- comedy - for some reason i like the standup bits better from sirius, BUT i hate the talk/comedy shows on sirius (i.e. jim breuer & the wiseguys show). i was constantly tuning in to hear standup bits only to listen to jim breur's annoying laugh. on a side note. i dont care for either companies 'clean comedy' station. sorry, i just dont' laugh as much at clean jokes. comedy = advantage xm

- sports - not even a question - advantage sirius (nfl channel is enough for me)

- politics - i think sirius has a better political talk lineup or at least used to. i am hoping that sirius will add another progressive station to replace air america. it doesn't bother me that they left, b/c i didn't listen to them plus they on the air locally here. it does bother me that sirius will likely lose customers because of it. i just hope they add something comparable. sirius has dropped off tremendously in this department from where they were 18 months ago. advantage = slightly sirius (only cause they have more channels, not b/c they have better programming) i think they should call 143 'liberal-lite'

if i do decide to come back to sirius, i could use your help buying a new unit.....

If you do come back, let me be the first to say "Welcome Back." Anytime you have a question about Sirius, this is the place to come. Everyone here is always more than happy to provide you with the answers that you need. If you do come back, I believe you will be much happier than with XM.

Default You are the first

You're the first person I've heard say that Sirius' Hip Hop is worse than XM. Wow, that's different. Probably not the first to cringe at Breur's Laugh, while the guy is funny.

Welcome back.

XM has the edge in hip hop? You got to be kidding!! Sirius has all the bases covered. Now, I would say XM has the edge in adult R&B (urban ac-old skool-funk- r&b classics). Sirius dropped the ball on this a couple years ago, and still hasnt figured out what to do.
