Default Holy FM Radio, Batman!

I listened to FM radio this morning for the fist time since February (siriusly). It was the worst hour and a half of my week so far. Commercials every 12 minutes. The same songs over and over and over again. Incessant ramblings of idiot, self-important DJ's who think they're funny. There's no content available via commercial radio that is worth listening to. Thank the GODs for SIRIUS. I don't how we all lived without for so long.

I'll take censored SIRIUS over commercial radio any day of the week.

Every time I know that I will be riding with a friend in a car that does not have Sirius I consider uninstalling my Starmate car kit and taking it with me. But I always end up being too lazy to do the uninstall and reinstall. I hate listening to FM radio now.

i feel the same way. Everytime i'm out ridding with the ol' lady, i feel like rippin' the hair out of my eyebrows. And not just because of her driving.

I either take my starmate, or my roady 2. I can't DEAL with FM at all.

While implementing EZPass here in New Hampshire, I took my starmate along for the ride. I had to drive 10 hours, back and forth testing out toll lanes, and sirius never failed me ONCE even under the toll canopies!!!

Good stuff going on in the middle of the night on Sirius...

My mail man drove up Saturday blaring some cool tunes. He takes his starmate everywhere he goes, and the UPS driver at works does the same thing. Me? I am too lazy to fish the antenna cord from the front of the car to the trunk. I have considered buying another one just for the pain of riding in someone elses car. I tune to AM once in a while for local new and traffic but as soon as the commercials hit for viagra, triple pane windows, gutter helmet, amazing diet pills, gas pills, heart pills, colesterol pills, and garlic pills. Blip.

I have never in my life seen a house with gutter helmet on it?

In an hour and a half they played the same songs over and over and over again?

If you haven't listened to FM radio since February, how do you know what they're playing?

Aww, come on! You know what I mean. You certainly don't need to listen to FM radio to know what their play rotation is.

Although, now that we mention it, I have been hearing an awful lot of the same songs on SIRIUS Disorder lately. It is starting to sound an awful lot like FM radio in that aspect.

After listening to Prime Time last night, I'm not sure there is much difference. After each song they played some of that stupid stuff of callers calling in. Who really wants to hear that crap? Just play the music.

AMEN!!

The only time I listen to FM radio is when my alarm goes off in the morning. That 5-10 minutes of FM every morning is damn near unbearable. Idiot DJ's trying WAY too hard to be funny... unsuccessfully, I might add. The weak attempt at "banter" between the local morning crew is truly pathetic.

I'm "siriusly" thinking about setting my alarm clock to just buzz instead of turn on the radio!

Thank God for Sirius!!!

I was stuck in a car last week with only FM and I was shocked that I could ever listen to it.

I also noticed that the station I listened to was trying to copy Sirius. They were playing all of these movie clip lines between tunes ( and commercials of course )

I, umm.. overslept a little on Monday - and i rushed out of the house and left my Sportster in the boombox. Longest damn commute of my life - TWICE

There's incentive for getting out of bed in a timely manner!
