Default "Maximum Daily Logins Exceeded" Error Message

I had many troubles at work today connecting through the firewall and web browser. And when I reconnected after about the 10th time or so..I got the following error message:

"Maximum Daily Logins Exceeded. Sorry, you've logged in too many times today. Please try back tomorrow. If you feel like you've reached this screen in error, please contact customer care (customercare@sirius-radio.com)"

Has anyone else rec'd this message before? If so, what did customer care say about it? That doesn't seem fair to be blocked out. I cleared my cache, cookies and temp files which didn't help get around the error.

This was put in place to prevent you from giving out your username to tons of people so they can listen for free. Although sometimes it works against us.

And of course everyone is just beating down the door for that superb 34k sound.

Yeah I know. But it's so much better than any other non-radio online stream. I can't crank it at work anyways so wouldn't make a diff to me.

Well it worked this morning (1/2 hour so far) so hopefully the firewall will cooperate with me.

i just got the 'Maximum Daily Logins Exceeded' message today (not sure how this happened since it seems like i've listened to the online player more often in the past without gettting this message). Anyways, by upgrading to the premium online service (at 128k) does it remove the restriction of 10 logins/day or whatever the amount is?

Yes, my understanding is that if you subscribe to the Premium SIR Online service that it does remove the limited logins.

I use "Replay Radio" software to record several shows on Sirius every day, and whenever there is a problem with the stream (at least once every 10 days or so) it keeps trying to re-log in, eventually causing the "Maximum Daily Logins Exceeded" message to appear. The problem, of course, is who wants to be locked out all day even after the stream is up and working again?

The last time this happened I emailed Customer Service about the problem. I received this very helpful response from someone named "Kat" and after following Kat's instructions I was able to log in and get all the channels perfectly. So kudos to Sirius Customer Service for a great job well done!!!! And here is the response I received; hope this helps....
