Default A Sirius Pet Shop

I was in a pet store yesterday and they had music playing and then I recognized the DJ's voice has being Nena Blackwoods voice from the big 80's and sure enough it was her and the big 80's station playing in the pet ahop. It was pretty cool to hear sirius in the store.

I was at a candle shop on Sunday and they were listening to Sirius 9. I talked to the shop and she said she likes it because it is non stop music. A lot of times the comercials break in and I guess it makes people wake up from their trance because they stay longer with the comercial free channel.

If I remember correctly, it is $300 per year for a business account. Which really isn't bad considering. Personally I would just get a PNP and use it over the business radio set up.

You don't want to do that because of licensing fees. Someday a representative from BMI or ASCAP would come into your store and you will pay them a whole lot of money. It has happened to two business owners I know who were just playing terrestrial radio or CD's from a shelf system. You can't have music for the entertainment of the customers without paying. When you use the Sirius business plan they pay the licensing fees.So Sirius is a big bargain for businesses.

I was just kidding as I don't own my own business, but good point. Thanks.

Default Have they found a niche?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Sirius Business cheaper than Muzak? The only concern I would have as a business owner is the DJs sometimes vulgar speak.

I wonder if anyone plays Spa 73 at any Day Spa's?

I would rather hear Jazz Cafe.

Let me know if I can help with measurements. I'd say a Jack Russell would probably fit into a large.

How much does it weigh?

There's a Mexican restaurant (El Nopal) by me that has Sirius. I only knew this because of the Sirius promo between blocks of songs.

I believe the DJs aren't allowed to curse on the pop channels.

I've heard the Pulse at my local Applebee's.
