Paris Hilton?! Hits 1?! Children's music?!

Did you even read my post? First of all, you literally could not pay me to listen to Hits 1 or anything from that untalented socialite skank gold-digging bitch. Again, I'm referring to actual REAL music primarily from the "decades" channels... some '80s (Big '80s) and '90s (The Pulse) music and some others that can only be heard on those channels. I'm also talking about some acoustic songs (The Coffee House) that are being cut. I don't know about you, but I like to hear the music the way the artist intended.

It's nothing but common sense: If you are going to unnecessarily edit those channels for content then you should offer places to hear that content unedited. Is that asking too much?
If it isn't acceptable what are you going to do about it Chad? It is happening right now? You keep talking this crap, what what are you doing to change it? What can you do the change it? You just go on and on with this stuff on the forum, but what has that gotten you?

Sirius doesn't have to do anything.... if they want to decide next week to edit all channels they can do that. Your options are limited, you can bitch (nothing new) and stay or you can decide to cancel. Sure you can write letters, but we've all seen where that get us.

I do not believe that SIRIUS is required to provide unedited content for those of you that feel you've just got to have it and cleary that don't plan to change that or they already would have.

So lets beat this deadhorse topic some more.

You speak of common sense, yet when it comes to the basic most common sense thing of all which is that SIRIUS actually offers business/family friendly channels, you don't think they should. What do you know about common sense? Because your post seems to lack it most of the time.

Oh I see. Sirius should just guess which edit of a song CHAD is interested in. Some of these songs have MULTIPLE edits. Which one CHAD wants to listen to seems to be Sirius' problem I guess.

How thoughtless of them.

I love how you keep throwing around the word "common sense" like you own it and lambaste others if they don't agree with *your* point of view.

Sure, you could very well be right that I'm wasting my time, but at least I'm putting some effort into actually trying to bring on a little change instead of just b-i-t-c-h-i-n-g as you often put it. That's more than I can say for some people.

Now, to veer this thread slightly OT:

I was originally going to bring this over in the feedback forum, but since you've brought it up several times here...might as well kill two birds with one stone.

You are right on the money when say this topic has been beaten like a dead horse. (love this emoticon, BTW!)

But, it's not due to my replies as you would lead people to believe nor is it due to your replies....or anyone elses for that matter. It's simply because there are usually five or more ACTIVE threads lingering around (as well as countless older ones that could be revived and often are) at any given time in various forums all revolving around the same damn thing...censorship. It's almost always because someone will start a new thread about DJ's using expletives, channels playing radio-edited material, etc. without doing a search prior to posting it. This of course leads people to post the same thing again and again and again simply because the OP foolishly failed to do a simple search and is not aware that their concern has already been brought-up...and debated. And you can't blame those replying for wanting to defend their position on the matter regardless of whether they have done so already or not.

Now, If I may I'd like to propose the following simple solution:

Merge ALL of the censorship-related threads into one thread in the forum of your choice. This "Official Censorship Discussion Thread" or whatever you want to call it would eliminate all that dead horse beating. All subsequent censorship threads started would be locked and the OP would be directed to the new thread where they are free to continue their debate. I've seen this done on other forums before and know for a fact that it works. Otherwise this will continue and we'll be right back where we started from.

This is horse crap Chad... Why do you always have to make everything about everyone else, but refuse to look at yourself. The fact is a dozen different people have tried to reason with you using common sense with the practical application of censorship. However, you only like to use common sense when it suits your purposes. No one has to agree with me, but clearly more agree with me on this subject than agree with you, but that is beside the point. You talk a good game Chad, but that is about it.
