I see a lot of bias on this forum against "bands that you have never heard of." If a person is totally against a band they have never heard of, they would never like any band. They have to wait and make sure the band is sufficiently mainstream before deciding if it is any good. They need to make sure plenty of people have "heard" of the band. Follow the crowd, in other words.
You can't take a couple of comments from one person (namely me) on an Internet forum and brand me as "biased" against new music. It isn't true.

NOT ALL MUSIC FROM BANDS THAT YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF IS WORTH LISTENING TO!

There should be a channel on both services for "unsigned" music. A place where indie bands can get air time. Wouldn't that be great?

That's right, both do have that channel. It is preset 3 on both of my radios. Play SOME obscure shit on Squizz and the other "mainstream" channels. Don't flood the air with it and I would listen to more XM music.

Yes, I understood and that is why I said what I did, to point out that you had made a general statement of course that did not apply to everyone.

Default How do you cancel?

I can not find anyway to cancel my subscription online. Do I have to call their toll free number to cancel? Hate to do that because their customer service is awful and I would not put it past them to charge me for another year instead of cancelling.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Rusty... man I am trying very hard to give you some latitude, but you've got to stop with the name calling and jumping on folks just because you disagree with them. Enough is Enough!

If you don't like what folks are posting.. please avoid those threads, instead of jumping in and causing havoc.

Thanks...

Man, come on. You are telling me that:

"I can not find anyway to cancel my subscription online. Do I have to call their toll free number to cancel? Hate to do that because their customer service is awful and I would not put it past them to charge me for another year instead of cancelling.

this even DESERVES a response??? This person is too lazy to call to cancel and we should take them seriously?

My God the hardships of some people's lives are just too real these days. Making a phone call....

Maybe if this person was a marine currently at war and was having a tough time getting through to customer service. Not some fool with nothing better to do.

I am a new guy here, but I figured, what the hell....might as well jump in the action.

1. I do find some of the stations to be repetitive. But not much more so than on FM radio. I just wish stations like the Underground Garage were not so repetitive. Their whole deal is obscure stuff most people have never heard. With that in mind there are millions of songs they could be playing. But I love the station anyway and continue to listen

2. The DJs don't bother me much. Some are genuinely entertaining, while others have the appeal of roadkill. As long as they don't talk over the music I could really care less.

3. I really hope XM and Sirius do merge so that I can get MLB broadcasts. Baseball would have been the only reason for me to choose XM over Sirius, but in the end I wanted to hear Howard more. Both is not an option for me right now. Not so much the money, but that I have the attention span of a firelfy sometimes. I would end up neglecting one.

Thats all I have for now.

What I am telling you is that if you can't be civil when answering questions, then you need to leave it alone. I think that is pretty clear. You go off on folks for asking what seems to be innocent questions. So what if they don't know what to do, so what if they are questions that have been asked a hundred times. Who appointed you to go around on the forum and lash out at all these posters. But then you don't stop there you have to call them boneheads and other totally unnecessary names.

Like I said, I've been pretty patient with you, but my patience are about done. CHILL OUT MAN! CHILL OUT! If you think a question is stupid fine, but keep it to yourself and just stay out of the thread.

Now back on topic, if you feel this needs more discussion send me a PM.
