I am in Orlando, Florida, deliver pizza 8 hours a day and listen to alot of different channels(music and talk) and my sound quality is really good. I've been trying to listen for this underwater sound and can't hear anything. Radio is a starmate replay. Only problem I've ever had is sometimes during NFL games I hear some compression artifacts every once in a while. It was pretty bad during pre-season but seems to be fixed now.

Thank God for the 128kbps stream.

XM satellites are sounding FANTASTIC, on the other hand. I'm glad I subscribe to both!

I'm just stuck here listening to Radio Replays because I don't want to hear the Satellite Radio part anymore. I'm not dropping my Sirius sub but this is increasingly getting annoying.

Such a degradation of sound quality is considered a breach of contract. I dont know about others but I recently picked up a Stiletto+2yr contract, not to mention a sportster w/ 2yr contract a few months earlier. I recently handed over about $1400 and I am not happy at all. Even if I got a refund for the service, Im still out around $700 in equipment.

I suggest everyone raise hell over this. I already sent them one letter and if things do not improve quickly, they will get another from my lawyer. Sadly, Im not sure if that will do any good, though unless enough people complain and get them worried about a possible class action suit. Im not sure if one is warrented, but companies have been sued for a lot less.

I suggest going back and listening again...the problem is fixed. Everything sounds better than before the nightmare.

The SQ sounds even better than it did a week ago. I felt they were making some changes and now it appears that is correct. I've just listened to about a half dozen different channels and I think the SQ is greatly improved.

They definitely fixed something last night. The flutter in the piano and string music that was so noticeable on Ch. 80 yesterday is gone. Also, the underwater sound when you heard voice over music is gone, at least on the channels I've heard today. Let's hope they test their SQ tweaks before going live with them.

Agreed on the half dozen channels I've listen to today, I've not heard the underwater or echo sound. I believe they actually had been testing the SQ tweak, on The Coffee House and it has now been rolled out across many channels. Not sure it is on all channels, but maybe we'll eventually get a confirmation of that.

OK, do we have a call? Is the "Coffeehouse sound" across more channels today, then? Or is it the same mediocre sound that we had earlier?
