Default Do You Guys Take The SIRIUS Survey, It's Actually Pretty Cool!

I don't know exactly where I found it (if anybody knows please post it here) but on the SIRIUS website I found a place that said join our crew or take a poll or something to that effect and completed the survey and a couple of weeks later I got my first email. The original survey to join asked about listening habits and said to click on what stations you listen to, so one of the stations I listen to on occasion and clicked on was SIRIUS Hits 1 and so in my email today was "SIRIUS HITS-1 Wutchuwant Crew" with questions like what do you think of Nelly Furtado, Pussycat Dolls or Snow Patrol and do you like this song by 50 Cent and how long do you listen per day and so on. I really like this idea because it also has a button asking if you're sick of a song or not and so if 80% of the people indicate that they're tired of hearing Nickelback every hour adjustments will be made to the rotation. It's actually fun and makes a difference to the playlist so if you have some time give it a shot.

I filled in something like that a long time ago, and never figured anything would come of it. But I got an email from Sirius the other day, and I just finished doing a survey for The Spectrum - it played 8 second cuts from a ton of songs, and I gave my opinion of the song and if I was "tired of it".

With any luck, there will be a whole lot less of Jack Johnson, Rod Stewart, and the Grateful Dead on that channel in the near future.

Research is what killed regular radio.

It would be great is SIRIUS actually listened to the feedback submited. However, most of it is done to reinforce the status quo.

Unfortunately, some SIRIUS Music execs love focus groups and surveys.

It's not a pain in the ass or like work to do this, I was actually kind of wanting more questions because it was cool to hear some of the good music and send positive feedback and then hear something awful and destroy it with an I HATE IT and I'M SICK OF IT. Let me know what you think of it, or if it was worth your time and did you answer the bonus questions.
Thanks
