I tried streaming on my wife's palm pilot. It plays videos and goes on the net so I figured it would work, but it doesn't. Good luck to ya, hope it works.

Try searching over at howardforums.com I found an app that runs on my iPaq phone for streaming Sirius.

Try using SiriusWM5 at http://home.ptd.net/~cobra04/code.html. It works great on my Axim, not sure how different a smartphone is. It doesn't require WM5 so don't let that worry you.

That's the one I have working on my WM5 based iPaq. A co-worker with the same phone has used it via the cellular data plan, but since I'm not on the unlimited plan, I've only used it via a WiFi connection.

Copy the cab file over to the device, and then click it on the device to run the install program.

Actually, you can stream it on any smartphone that will do Shoutcast. I setup a shoutcast streaming server at home (free, not too difficult) and I just plug in my PNP, pick it up with my shoutcast server and can put in the URL with my Treo 650 and Sprint's unlimited data plan

It's a little more work to change channels, I have to use the web interface which can still be picked up by Shoutcast (and audio source really.) I could then remote desktop from my phone (MobileTS) and change channels if needed.

I don't use it much, but it's there if I ever want!

www.shoutcast.com has some pretty good instructions. If you're using a router, be sure to go into your admin panel and allow ports to be redirected to your computer.

I'm setting up shoutcast tomorrow afternoon for art class because they want to hear Spa 73.

FYI

There is a new home for SiriusWM5.

The link to the support and release area is located here --> http://home.ptd.net/~cobra04/code.html

The download used to be on that page, but now it has a link to the new site.

Thank you for using SiriusWM5!

SiriusWM5 is the best way to go. Just make sure your plan included unlimited data service. (note the signature)

For Treo owners, I have a 700wx. This is a good thread :

The third to the last thread is the web site. Make sure you also have TCPMP, it is a free service. This has worked great for me.

I prefer the SiruisWM5 over the SiriusCE for the Motorola Q. I also found TCPMP to be hard to deal with. I have no problems streaming through the MS media player, do it every day.
