Default Renewing Service

I signed up on 12/16/05 for a 1 year subscription, so it's about time that I renew... but when I go into my account on Sirius.com I don't see anything about a payment being due or about renewing. If I don't take any action does it renew automatically with the credit card on file?

Yes it will renew automatically, you have to let them know in advance if you do not wish it to auto-renew.

Do you have to call CS to let them know you do not want to renew automatically, or can you just make a payment online to change the plan from 1 to 2 year prepaid.

Are you kidding? These blood suckers hit your card a.s.a.p. -> But call and ask about why there is no signal and you get the run around.

I signed up for 2 years, This month I start my 2nd and last year. In the past month I drive 5-6 days a week and I can listen maybe now and then. I have spent a small fortune on the news units and antennas - and yes my antenna is on the roof and was installed professonally - The installers tell me the service sucks and sirius can't keep their satilites running at full power or their repeaters keep dropping off line.. SO Unless you use the On Line serivice, its a waste to have a car unit.. I live in cleveland, Ohio . too far north I guess for the satilites, to hit the radio antenna at all times of the day and the repeater is downtown and after sunset can't be picked up in the suburbs

I would think you need to call to change the plan you are on, since they probably won't offer any plans less than what you have now online.

The installers are full of crap and if you so easily believe them, I got some real cheap ocean side property for sell in here Central, La.

I have several good friends that live in your neck of the woods and that have no reception issues.

Um, you definitely have an installation problem. I travel to Cleveland frequently and have never had an issue. The installers are full of it.

I was wondering the same thing. I got Sirius for Christmas last year and signed up for one year.
Does Sirius send out anything in the mail or e-mail in regards to renewal?

I agree with CraigW. You must have an install problem. I've been to Ohio (Cleveland, Columbus, Akron) several times in the last year with my rig, both day and night, and haven't had a lick of trouble in the city or out in the sticks.
