Thumbs down Better Business Bureau Complaint Submitted

I just submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, about my Sirius Starmate replacement radio that I've been waiting on since last May! I've called warranty and was given the back order cry me a river story! Then I call them again and they said O were sorry sir, we don't have you in our system anymore,we don't know what happened, your radio is on its why! LOL . Yeah, right sure the radio is on its way just like there going to Host the Winter Olympics in Hell this year too! I doubt I will ever get the radio! I would just cancel my subscription to Sirius, but I know I would never get my money back, bc they can't even send my a dam rebate check in the mail! Sirius may have better programming than XM but they suck ass in the customer service department!

Reasons like this is why I like to buy Sirius products from the various dealers. Like radio shack, TSS radio, etc. It's good to get a extended warranty. So you can always go thru the dealer you bought it from. Instead of direct Sirius warranty department. If it goes bad after the extended warranty. It's time to get a new unit anyway. If I were in your position. I would go out, and buy a new radio. Then forget about the crappy warranty department. That would be the more healthy way rather than create that constant stress for yourself. That built up negative energy can take it's toll on your day to day living. Although I'm sure your complaint you filed alone should relieve some tension. Good luck

I have a BBB complaint right now for a warranty issue that took over 3 hours to resolve to no avail. Basically the antenna on my Sportster Replay the first month I had it. I ended up buying another one. I got bounced from Warranty Services to Online Sales back to warranty services back to online sales on three way call. Warranty Services did a good job. At least the guy I talked to. He was very good about making sure everything got taken care of. He was the one that called me on three way to help get it resolved. I have his e-mail if you have issues PM me and I'll give it to you. Either way I haven't had anything happen from the BBB complaint.

I don't post this to rain on anyone's parade, but the Better Business Bureau is completely and totally powerless to do anything--it's like what happens when your 2nd grade teacher tells you something goes on your "permanent record."

The Better Business Bureau is nothing but a clearinghouse for complaints. If you call them, and complain, they will file your complaint, and report to anyone asking about info re: Sirius that they have been complaint(s) about the company. That's all they do.

If you've been paying for a service you haven't been receiving, your better course of action might be to contact an attorney.

Think Sirius is bad? Try XM's customer service. They'll suck your soul right out of you...
