Okay, now I am more confused, I think. Drove the Dakota to work today and everything is great...no pops, clicks crackles or anything. Let's see what happens when I go home and take the Toyota out....and if things are improved for more than just one morning.

Default Saturday Update

Well, no snap, crackle, pop from either vehicle yesterday or this morning. Makes me believe it is caused by the signal being received. Guess there's nothing further to do to prevent future issues.

Thanks to everyone for their assistance. Maybe just talking about it on the forum was enough to fix it (LOL).

I am glad you said that, I was having sound problems too. I was about to post that I hear what sounds like data being sent over my car stereo speakers. I drove around a few days with my cell turned off in the car and it did not ever make that sound. I have Cingular btw. If it does that to my stereo, what does it do to me? I did read the report on CNN that there is no link to cancer and cell phones before somebody brings that up. But it still makes me think.
