Its how they learn, through repitition, im sure after the first 5 times they know the lyrics to the song. For me, the song repitition on any channel drives me insane.

On the way back from my in-laws on Christmas Eve, my son requested me to replay a song on Kids Stuff four times (I think it was called "I Want a Hippopotomus for Christmas"). Seeing that it was Christmas Eve, I complied with his request (as crazy as it was making me). The target audience for this channel doesn't seem to mind repetition.

Harrumph harrumph, Kids need to be exposed to deeper and more eclectic xMas music, harrumph.

It seemed like I knew the words to EVERY song Sirius played. Blasphemy!!!

The only people that should be allowed to complain about xMas music should be people working retail and being exposed to it in muzac form 24/7...

I worked in retail and was exposed to it from about a week before Thanksgiving up till I quit (day before Christmas).

So, yeah, I considered converting to Judaism just so I could claim that it was not fair that there weren't any Hanukkah songs on the radio and that we had to put it onto something every religion could enjoy, classic rock!

Oh, and the Hippo song, luckily there aren't any zoos around me, or I would have gotten a hippo head to place at the foot of whoever ran the slot board for playing that damned song on our local radio (which isn't really local, it's Clear Channel BullS*** Radio).

So yeah... Christmas music has ruined Christmas, not because of the music itself, but how soon it starts and how often the same songs are played.
