Post Suggestion to Sirius US- The Sirius Soundboard

I was checking out the Sirius Canada website and came across this:
http://www.siriussoundboard.ca/
I was wondering if Sirius in the US should start something similar. It would help them gather more subscribers and get them thinking more to tweak their service. Not that SBS doesn't do a good job, but it helps them to have something too.

SBS is not run by Sirius, so all the complaining done here is not seen by Sirius employees who can make a difference. I say we all sign up for the Canadian one. Since they get all the channels we do, it shouldn't matter. If enough people use it to ask for The Globe and Sirius Vacation back, maybe they will.

Oh my, everything here is seen by Sirius (especially the legal department). Trust me, Sirius employees definitely see Backstage, they just aren't allowed to post to tell you about it.

The fact is it's not an official Sirius made website. It's a user-fan based site.

so...

A Sirius regulated board would be no fun, it would be heavily moderated, and lots of things negative would most likely be deleted.

I'm sure the people at Sirius who make the important decisions don't worry about this site a whole lot is the point. If so, there are so many squeaky wheels here that need grease more would probably be done, especially in the less popular genres of music like electronic/dance and others. Channels that a lot of people miss would be back and The WHo channel probably would never have happened since most people on here don't want a Artist only channel. They are probably using mostly what comes from phone calls and the Sirius websites customer service form.

I would agree for the most part this site appears to have little influence over many things. However, just as an example, I don't think we'd have Spa 73 without this site and the "censorship debacle" may not have ended so fast. Like you said, many of these suggestions/complaints could have been filed through phone calls and the CS form.

This site is actually somewhat misleading when it comes to single artist channels, according to Sirius these channels are very popular.

Remember that SBS represents a relative handful of hard-core fans, a small fraction of Sirius' 6 million subs. While we have some influence, Sirius values their own market research far more.

I wish Sirius would research ME. I am asking for them to send me MORE surveys, more questions, because I want to give MORE feedback. The feedback form on sirius.com seems to only generate copy and pasted replies, and I'd like a human to reply to me once and a while.

Sirius knows about this site.....whether everyone does and whether they all look at it is a different story. Even is Sirius gave the US a board, it wouldn't matter. They don't listen to us now, why would they start. If anything, Sirius would probably edit it so that only positive things were posted.

I've heard this site mentioned on many Sirius channels. They definitely know about this site, and they're proud of it, too!
