Default uSIRIUS & TVersity: streaming SIRIUS on XBOX 360

Here ya' go! Install both these programs on your PC, and you'll be streaming SIRIUS on your XBOX 360!!

TVersity

uSIRIUS

Need help setting it up? Lemme know...I've got Radio Margaritaville running as I type!

TVersity is pretty cool...allows for "channels" and podcasts!! It's brought new life to my XBOX 360!!

I'm already running tversity to my 360.... how exactly does uSIRIUS integrate with it (by the way, tversity is a friggin awesome program alone.)

edit: ahh, i see. Slick.

For those who haven't played with it yet...

You add the URL's from uSIRIUS to TVersity, and the XBOX 360 see's them as playlists (either all the channels, individual channels or by category). Pretty cool.

Every now and then a channel just won't play, but keep trying and it will (or back out to the main menus, then back in to try again).

Can anyone help me out with this? I downloaded both programs and am now stuck. It's not working the way the old XBOX Media Connect worked.

Install TVersity. Install uSIRIUS. Change the settings in uSIRIUS to your online login, then click "start". Once it caches the channels, click URL's to get different URL's for different channels/categories. There's a tab that says "Channels" or "Feeds". Channels have to be added as "Audio URLs' in TVersity, while "Feeds" are added as "Audio Feeds". Simply copy & paste the address in the setup in TVersity, then name it whatever you want. TVersity appears on the XBOX 360 as a computer (you may need to tell the XBOX to "connect to a different PC" if it can't find your computer), feeds appear as playlists, channels as songs.

Opera isn't supported for Sirius. Fortunately, BootsC5 released a flash transcoder for me so I'm starting work on this this afternoon.

Hello.

Just a uSirius heads up (since I still haven't created a readme). Tomorrow (2/14) the Sirius lineup changes -- finally an alternative rock 90's channel! After those changes go into effect, (and if they didn't make any authentication changes), you'll need to stop uSirius, go to the settings, and click the "Delete Lineup Cache" button. Restart uSirius and wait until the lineup finishes downloading. Then in TVersity click the refresh button and you should be good to go!

Cool, I am going to try this on the weekend.

Anyone know if this will work on regular windows XP, or do you need WinXP Media center edition?

Window XP SP2 and you will have no problems. I Have both uSirius and uXM running on my Netgear MP-101 when I'm too lazy to take my receivers out of the car and put them in their dock. Jason did an excellent job with these two apps!

This works fantastic!!! I recommend to anyone who has a xbox360. Now if Sirius Canada would bring 128k streaming online!!

The only thing I would add to syphix924's intructions is to make sure that in your windows/personal firewall settings to add MediaServer.exe to your allow list.

Thanks syphix924!!!

I see no reason it wouldn't work if the PSP is capable of streaming WMAs. (I have one, and I know it will PLAY WMA files, but I don't know if it's capable of streaming them).
