Joey thanks for taking time out of your day to post the playlist. Seems to be very interesting although seems like many people are disliking this stream.

Thanks Joey, much appreciated. I'm curious of your wording of "Interesting," Mike? Interesting that there are 4 rap songs to every one dance song? Interesting how... just curious?

Whoever mentioned that party 95 in Orlando. You do realize that station failed and then moved to all hip hop. The same group then moved down to Miami and started Party 93.1. It was the same initial blend of hip hop and dance. Now they are one of the biggest stations in America regarding dance and they shunned the hip hop. We also had a station in Tampa, Wild 98.7.. an initial blend of hip hop and dance. You guessed it, another failure! They now play all hip hop.

The blend of these two genres is horrible. I won't stereotype the two genres, but come on, when have you seen rap listeners up in a techno club, or vice versa. Really, it's not going to work and we will eventually just lose another channel due to low listening. It sucks that they actually play some good breaks and older dance tunes, because we need those!

It meant nothing. I was IM'ing someone at work and in between of toggling back & forth on screens I must have accidently posted that word on there as I was making the playlists for you guys.

I have no comment on any of the dance changes!

Neurorip it is very interesting how they have leaned more towards a hip hop format then a dance. I was really expecting like a old hot 103/Hot97 back in the days style where it would be a even share of dance and non gangster hip hop. I could see them playing tone loc, Cynthia, Coro, Corona, Run Dmc, Slick Rick stuff like that. To bad Mr. Salkowitz is no longer around at sirius he had Hot pumping in the 80s lol.

I'm still listening (although I did go to bed, of course!) and I'm still not happy.

This station makes as much sense as playing Vanilla Ice on Sirius Hits 1. Can we do that next?

I don't think mch is one of us dance heads....so for him to be making these comments says a lot. You don't have to be a dance freak like NeuroRip, With The Dog, myself, etc...to see that this "mix" really bites.

The Imaging has just changed. The bumper just said

Old Skool Hip-Hop and Breaks

So--sorry Dance fans, it's a hip-hop stream that unfortunately got placed in the 60s. This is great--I just heard some old electronic song and now I'm hearing about fuck this and niggas rhyming.

whats strange is how it goes from rap to a flat-out techno beat like..

Artist: Kosheen
Title: Hide U (Koma & Bones mix)

i guess they are sharing the channel together. But for those that like dance, they will change the channel as soon as a Rap track comes on. For those that like Rap, they will change the channel as soon as techno tune comes on. I guess this channel is similar to Faction, in thats a mix of genres that all share a common musical tone (in this sense, a Break beat).

And then Public Enemy. Come on Sirius, if I want to hear Chuck D, I'll switch to Air America!
