Default I Think You're Right...

Uncle Mel probably turned told the head of programming (we all know who that is) in the dance department that one channel will be taken and left that decision to this someone to decide. I'm not upset that we're losing one dance channel...we've been down to 5 channels before, but the one they're taking out is the best one. I can't sleep over this shit! I kinda get over it, but then it all pops back in my head again...we gotta band together on this one gang and show our POWER!

once again dance fans the real music lives on www.di.fm. STOP WASTING YOUR TIME ON SIRIUS!

take a look at Victor Dinaire...he was on Sirius...got blown out the door...and now is making stops with Blank & Jones on a west coast tour! he has his own dedicated program with XM & di.fm. he moved on, took his identity and is running with it. SIRIUS commitmenet to dance is so dead that i can't believe you rooks still hang on over here! am i joking? well where else are you going to hear ASOT, Marcus Shultz, GT & Project C, Ciacomix, Blank & Jones, Tiesto, Victor Dinaire, Ferry, Gabriel & Dresden, Lange, i mean it really is an endless mix of live shows! i haven't posted in a while but i stick up for you dance fans out there...you want to join the real community then live:

www.di.fm!

btw: i have nothing to gain from homing on this site, just pure and simply it is the best!

DI is all trance garbage we want our Remix back not some outdated Trance crap. Remix had some of the best dj's I have ever heard and I never heard of many of them before I subscribed to Sirius. We want our Fecci,Rooney,Bordes,Rivaldo,Chip Chop,Robbie Rivera back not to listen to an internet radio trance network we have that with area 63 us real dance fans are totally left in the dark with the beat playing remixed hip hop and trance on area 63 there is no true club and house music left.

Love how people come here to plug internet radio. This is not a internet radio forum. I have been sending emails all over and getting ready to start sending letters out USPS to Steve Blatter, Jay Clark, Geronimo, and Uncle Mel. I highly doubt any of this will work but if all of us get together and show them the Dance fans will put our foot down and not continue to let Sirius cancel our channels there might be some hope if they do no move the mixers across the other channels I am cancelling all my subs.

I don't think they need the bandwidth I just think they will go with a more popular music. That is what I think and I think they are wrong on getting rid of 62...

Ain't that a bitch that you guys are losing REMIX? Don't worry, it's a blessing in disguise. I hope they get rid of all the high maintenence dj's and all the overblown, big names dj's and keep just the ones that really matter to the people on sirius. then again, i switched to XM so I would hope XM takes all the good ones from sirius and leaves you with the scrap dj's like Justin Testa, Dom Armano, Monsta, Mickey Garcia, Ivano Bellini....or is it IVAN DRAGO? We'll take all the good ones like Robbie Rivera, Denny Tsettos, Joey Rivaldo, Art Rooney, Mike Bordes, Angelo Fecci.

Sirius focuses so much on BIG NAMES like Howard Stern, Jimmy Buffet, the bitch that just got out of prison Martha Stewart, Uncle Ben or Cousin Brucie or whatever. They forgot about quality programming and streams that the subscribers want. Thats why I left and I hope you all do the same. Lets face it, if Sirius has all of these big names, how come they still trail XM on a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 basis.

All ballbusting aside. It's better that Remix is gone. They put too many obscure dj's on there who really didn't deserve to be on there. They had no business. They were "Fill-Ins". If I was them I would spread them out on the other streams and it would make the dance more nice & neat.

But before I go, I'm going to let you guys in on a little secret. All your petitions, e-mails, phone calls, polls and posts on here won't make one bit of difference so please people, save your energy. I'll tell you why. Cause the dance department hates everyone on backstage. They think you all are a bunch of whiners. Therefore, everytime they get a complaint, whether it's legit or not or someone who is not even associated with backstage, they will think it's someone from backstage and they will throw it out or disregard it as rubbish.

You're an idiot. It's all a matter of taste...I would say some of the most popular DJs on this board are those "fill-ins"...Monsta, Bordes and Mikey D were my favorites.

Well Bordes, Monsta and Mikey D were not fills in they were regulars and there for a very long time. And I hope they will still be on Sirius. Bordes will be awesome on the Beat. Monsta could possibly go to Area 63 but it's iffy he plays very obscure stuff and not to many people enjoyed him. Mikey D could definately be on Area 63. Let's hope Sirius listens.

Mike Bordes is a great Dj and has been there from way back. All the DJ's on Remix have there own style of Mixing. Thats what makes remix great.

Big wheels keep on turning Remix is slowly burning rolling rolling people keep rolling over to XM . Well rumor has it that Sirius might be smart and keep some of the mixers yet it will probably be too late since XM might be beating them to the punch. The ones I think have no hope of staying on Sirius are the guys that have been there for a very short period of time DJ Tab wasn't that drink discontinued?? Justin Testa??? Sorry buddy never even heard you when I had Sirius. DJ Monsta???? haha I would see his name and change the channel immediately. Let's see who else in the wonderful world of Remix should hang it up I am drawing blanks but keep on rolling rolling rolling over to XM

Knockout enough stick to your XM and let us fight to get OUR Remix back. I have been listening to Boombox today this station is a disgrace and has no right at all being in the dance category. Every single song I heard was crap RAP. I also caught the Grandmaster Flash show this was one of the worst shows I have ever heard in my life all RAP and screaming and shouting over songs like most urban FM radio stations do. This is a major insult to dance fans to have a station like this and loose a real dance channel with REMIX. Sirius you fucked up now fix it before it's to late.

I really think that SIrius execs really have no clue about the difference between Rap/Hip-Hop on the one hand and Trance/Techno/House on the other. They think it's all one in the same.

Sad thing is I have emailed everyone I could about this and have gotten the same canned response from the very few that have replied that I can get my dance mixshows on Shade 45. Imagine Eminem playing a Robbie Rivera mix?? How dumb are these people??
