Default Chill is awesome..

i enjoy most of the electronic stations except for the disco one, but chill is really my favorite... it's just such a great 'late night' station.. i usually listen at like 1 AM... great music for the wee hours

It's not a bad station but does not belong in dance category. There are also many similar stations on Sirius. Sirius neglects the dance fans that is why you see many leaving.

Chill is awesome. I enjoy it. It is the only dance station that I can listen to more than 5 minutes, it needs to stay.

Chill is a unique station. I really wish XM had something like this.

Let's review again. It is not a dance channel.

I stand corrected.

Well then its an "Electronic" channel.

I can't listen to ANY dance channel to any more than 5 minutes.

Try Spa73--there's no reason most of the unique chill music can't be rolled into that channel. I like 73 a lot better than chills as they are now.

I have them both as presets, they are different yet equally great!

Chill is one of the more unique radio stations I have heard. It's like hip easy listening. I'm a big fan of it, and hope it sticks around for quite a while.

I discovered Chill not long after signing on to Sirius. It has definitely grown to be one of my top 3 favorite channels whether I'm driving and/or in the office. I still scratch my head sometimes when they play a non-electronic song/artist (and Coldplay comes to mind), mostly because it is an electronic/dance channel so I still expect to only hear songs that would fit into that defintion... Sometimes they play things that are really pushing the "chill" envelope with rather upbeat tracks (like "Winning Style" by The Propellerheads). All in all, those anomalies are forgivable because I really enjoy the programming overall.

Spa 73 is quite different. I put it as a preset but there are 3-4 presets that I have which seem to change. This is a channel that's still growing on me & I want to give it a fair chance. It's definitely a more quiet, tranquil channel than Chill. It's a welcome addition (as most of the new channels are) in my book.

And I need to read more on here to figure out why Boombox is loathed by so many... It has its place on Sirius too!

I'd love to hear more Aphex Twins (from 85-92 CD) on Chill. And what about KLF "Chill Out"? They are are both classics.
