That line up would be a dream come true. To bad it's only gonna be a dream.

I feel a little lost with remix gone and boombox has turned hip hop.
Pain is temporary, glory is forever. Bones heal and chics dig scars.

Default This Lineup

If sirius went with this lineup there would be no more dance channels than there are now. As I've said, Chill and Boombox could EASILY be merged with other existing channels. Since when was breakbeat music more popular than house music?

35//The Beat: Broaden the playlist a bit, get rid of all the silly gossip and
replace it with relevant dance happenings, and finally add
mixshows on Fri and Sat nights. Girls Night Out does not
cut it for a Sat night.
36//Club Classics: 80s and 90s dance with mixshows.
37//The Strobe: ALL disco with mixshows.

DELETED Channels: Boombox and Chill
Merge Chill with Spa 73
Merge Boombox with Backspin

This would be my dream channel lineup. No extra dance channels added and the deadweight dance channels removed. Although I REALLY miss Remix, I could live with this lineup as long as there are plenty of mixshows. I would also be in favor of removing a couple of the jock positions from The Beat and run it jockless for certain shifts. Those removed positions could be added shifts on The Vortex or House Party. I think this lineup would really satisfy just about everyone. Those that miss the house party show on Remix would now have a channel to listen to. House and trance would be on two separate channels as there have been lots of complaints about that.
That would actually be a really good lineup, even though I did like REMIX for the fact it waas 24-7 remixes. If I had to compromise, that would be a line up I coudl deal with. I personally am not a fan of trance. Mixing trance and house music really does not work imo.

Default See My Post under Deep House...

Instead of having an all disco channel, put Remix in its place. The disco could be spread out SPARINGLY between the 70s channel and The Strobe. I think A LOT of people want Remix back.

Being new to Sirius, I can't get over how badly they've done on the electronic music. Its very obvious that the person behind the electronic stations has a background in something other than electronic music, and quite possibly something other than music in general. The stations offer nothing for an actual fan of good electronic music. I'm very frustrated. I originally went with Sirius because XM's electronic music was pretty bad. It is WAY better than what Sirius currently has. I think we really need to organize a mailing comapaign... assuming we could all agree on some changes. I don't know anyone that's pleased with these stations.

i am brand new to sirius, but i will react to Boombox leaving the way you guys are to remix getting pulled. if Boombox is ever pulled i might just drop sirius all together because it's honestly all i listen to. it hardly plays rap like some are saying. maybe the guy that runs the show read the complaining here, because it's mostly pure breakbeat. i find the weekday afternoon shows better than the mornings. different djs.
