Default Oh No..The Beat is at it again

Have you heard this Dandy crap? Straight up R&B/Hip Hop not even a dance mix to boot. While theres tons of great dance songs missing on The Beat. How bout Soulseekerz "Party for the weekend" just to name one. Who the hell would want to hear this Dandy shiit on a Dance hits channel anyways? I can only think of one thing. A favor for the label.

Please continue to complain to corporate about this channel. It must change!

The Beat plays older music than Strobe does. Do we really need to hear Depeche Mode, New Order, Bananarama (1980s stuff) or Information Society on a dance hits station? If they're doing a flashback show, that is fine. But as part of the regular playlist??

The Beat's new motto should be "always one step forward and two steps back when it comes to dance music"...

Talk about a great add, Sander Kleinenburg - "This Is Miami"...but then they also add that HORRIBLE Dandy song which isn't anything close to dance music. GET THAT SHIT OFF THE BEAT! It's pure PAYOLA which makes it even worse.

Where did the "forward" come from? There is nothing forward about the channel. For what it's worth, BPM over at XM has been sucking too. For months they have been ignoring actual DANCE songs in favor of FM-level drivel. The Beat and BPM are both going downhill.

The forward is in regard to adding "This Is Miami" which is a great track. Whenever they add a good track like that one or "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" they add at least two crappy ones.

BPM is miles ahead of The Beat.

I don't know who Dandy is, but they sound like they belong on Hot Jamz and Hits One. Im kinda amazed that even some "Core" artists aren't getting their new songs added on the Beat.. Amber, D.H.T., Jenna Drey,Kim Sozzi all have new stuff out.

I think they should drop the pop remixes to the pop channels. Combine the play list of Area 33 and The Beat, and put Remix on 36.

It amazes (or disgusts) me that "Everytime we Touch," "Be Without You," "Buttons," "Walk Away," "Run It," " Don't Forget About Us," My Humps," and "SOS" are still getting over 20 plays a week. I really cannot listen to this station anymore. My friend gave me his XM username and password to listen online. That's where I'll be.

"This is Miami" is a great song, but it was added WAY too late. The Riddler used to play it in his mixshhows back in June. "Put Your Hands Up" is a good add, although still a little late.

Another new add this week is "Can't Sleep" by Above & Beyond. Don't get me wrong, it's a great song, but why have they just added it now and why are they playing it several times a day like it's brand new? They've also played "Remind Me" by Royksopp two times so far today. This song is like four years old.

Where are the Soul Seekerz, Axwell, Sun, Andrea Burns, Galaxy 68, Cedric Gervais, Jacinta, and all the other great new dance songs that other dance stations are playing?

The Beat is off my presets, has been for some time now. It's unlistenable unless you are some "wannabe hip soccer mom."

It's tired, corporate. Take a lesson from BPM (the only station I miss on XM).

Sirius has so much going for them. I hate to see the cheese-ball dance drag them down...

Enough with the "diva" vocals songs already! Electronica with more of a dance beat is where this station should focus...

According to Mediabase, it's the 6th most played song on the Beat... and the sad thing is, NO OTHER RADIO STATION IS PLAYING this song!

Hm.. do I smell record company BRIBE???
