Yep. I could not believe it when I hoticed that. Back in the 90's they played all that stuff but also mixed in R&B like Fugees and Maxwell. It was so London! That was back in the "100% Pure" days. Excellent station and like no other anywhere.

2nd only to the originial Hot 103/Hot 97 New York.

Me and my friend were at Gatwick about to catch our plane back home and we were grabbing breakfast at the McDonald's at the airport. Over the PA system there they were playing electronic music. House, drum and bass, etc. It was like 10am on a Sudnay morning! And it was just everyday background music for them.

It was pretty tough to leave that and return to the land of Hootie and the Gin Blossoms.
I'm from the Netherlands and moved to the US in 2000. I was surprised about how there was no proper electronic music to be found on the radio (FM) overhere. Not even tucked away in a one-hour a week corner. Surprised, because a lot of the good deep house, techno and other electronic tracks we used to get in Europe came from the States.

I must say I'm a bit disappointed in Sirius' electronic/dance line-up also, but at least it's a lot better than nothing.

Oh...heading to 38 by the way and I hope/expect to never lose the love for electronic dance music.
Although I am becoming an old geezer, with my love for old country, blues, jazz, zydeco and everything else American ;-)

34 years old and I love "Electronica". Area 33 and Boombox (even though it's not perfect) are two of my top five stations on Sirius.
