Default Heart & Soul and Soul Revue sounding great!

OK, Im taking a step back to get some air!! While I have been so down on the 70s stream situation, I need to say that there are some bright spots in the musical offferings. Heart&Soul 51 (urban ac) and SoulRevue 53(soul classics) are sounding great!! I have heard songs that I havent heard in ages, a great mix and presentation!! Props to the PD of these two offerings!! Its nice to know Sirius can do somethings right...can we spread this to some other streams?

Joe, I was never really much on R&B, but you stirred my curiosity many months ago and once I started listening I found myself hooked. I enjoy both the streams you've mentioned and they do have a really nice mix. Thanks for turning me on to R&B!

Glad you now consider yourself a fan of R&B. Its sad that so many people equate hip hop/rap with r&b. In fact many R&B fans feel hip hop has detracted from real soul/r&b music. The roots of rock go to R&B, some of American music's greatest moments are in R&B (Motown,Jazz, Funk etc). Todays real R&B is about as far from rap as Korn is from Britney Spears..... its too bad more people dont see what it offers. It stresses the vocal talents of trueartists and feelings of people of all shades.... black, white, brown, yellow and red. Enjoy!!
