Default Soul Revue and Heart & Soul going deeper and more variet

I have noticed much better song title selections on my two favorite channels (51 and 53) in the past couple weeks. Songs that never ever got played are now popping up on the playlists. This is what I have been hoping for for over a year. Adding depth and variety and still keeping the song choices popular will keep the flava fresh, it helps beat the repeat blues!! Good work on whoever is behind this move, dont stop! Next we need an all old skool (70s 80s) channel.

Sounds nice. When I get some money in a couple months, I'm going to replace my PNP2 since it has lost its audio out. That's the only problem I had with Sirius. The repetiveness but if they throw in a few throwback songs that make it better, great job.

Yes, over 2 years ago Sirius had channel 44 THE EXPRESS, an all old skool programmed channel, featuring the old skool jamz from the mid 70s to the early 90s, it was my fav Sirius channel by far. Then they dumped it and made a channel called Heart & Soul, which is basically urban ac- best of todays r&b with the classic soul of the last 20 years. Its a good channel, but doesnt fullfill the need for an all oldskool one. I keep hoping...... :\

Default old skool funk

Heres an idea "MASS CANCELATIONS".Those of us 35+ and fans of old skool funk we pick a day to call sirius and cancel our subscriptions for a couple of weeks.Make sure to tell sirius that we and an entire genre are being ignored and were not gonna accept it.Threaten to go to XM where they have a dedicated channel for the music we want to hear.

Is it me or does 61,62,63,64,66 play the SAME type of music. Why not drop 1 of those and bring back the express channel?

I don't know about those streams because I've never listen to them.

I say dump 52. It and 51 share about 98% of their songs. Not much variety. The only difference between the 2 imho, is who gets to premiere new R&B songs first. That's it...

The major difference bewteen 51 Heart & Soul & 52 Slow Jamz is that 51 goes back further into the classics, and will occasionally play some funk, or upbeat R&B jamz. 52 is just what it says- slow jamz, old & new, no real upbeat cuts or any funk classics. Its the smoothgrooves-mellow r&b channel. 98% of whats on 52 is also part of 51's playlist also, but I's guess only 60% of Heart & Soul can be heard on Slow Jamz. Just give us the Express back, all will be forgiven!

True, Joe. If they did merge the 2 channels, I think everything could be covered. Give a little or take a little. I mean, imho, Slow Jamz sucks compared to most of the Night Storm programs on Urban AC. It just doesn't have the same feel to me.

I'm I the only frustarted with the phone line system? I mean, 1, 13 and 45 can have people pick up the phone, why the hell can't 50, 51 or 53?

I have heard more funk based hits on Soul Revue, not so sure about Heart & Soul. Please give us old skool/funk back....the return of the Express would be very nice!

I have heard some of my requests on soul review, keep hittin`em with funk requests and maybe then they will see the need to bring back the express.
