Default Cipha Sounds wants to save Wax42!

He said on Shade45 that he's starting a movement to save Wax42. He want's everyone to call the main Sirius line, send emails, and write to save the channel. Cipha is a DJ and he doesn't want to see the channel die. I've already wrote a email so I'm going to call up the Sirius phone lines.

Where the hell's the movement to save Remix??

Even though I'm not a huge fan of Wax, it's good to see a DJ speaking out against SIRIUS and their horrible decisions they've been making recently.

If they get rid of Wax, Shade 45 will be the last station left in the rap category that isnt just random tunes. Wax was ten million times better than the other rap stations, and the most original programming in the hip-hop format in years....WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING SIRIUS????

I swear to god, if they drop wax without putting the mixes on a new station, and if they drop remix without splitting the mix shows between all the other dance stations and get genre-specific, I WILL NOT CONTINUE SUBSCRIBING. PERIOD. Radio 1 is the only savior of the dance scene on SIRIUS, and all they want to do is cram in fucking martha stewart and some other pussified shit.

I'm tired of the bullshit. SIRIUS, drop this station, and you will no longer be promoted by me. I've got THREE yearly subscriptions, so I am serious about radio, but I might never be serious about SIRIUS, again.

Well Rude Jude was talking about the Wax situation yesterday and he said it's talks about getting rid of Shade45. Once that's gone, i'm gone.

Default Cipha Sounds attempts to save Wax 42

I was listening to Cipha sounds on Friday (Oct. 14) and he played a tape of him calling customer care and asking why the cut the cord on Wax. The guy on the other end was dumbfounded and just read the script they gave him. They gave no idea, but I would say the best bet is to get behind Cipha and let him know that other people are upset with the change as well. They say the things are going over to Hip Hop Nation, and I did hear one show come on the other night that said they would be there now since Wax was gone. I haven't heard anything else though.

a good chunk of Wax 42 shows are on HHN now. Check the HHN page on sirius.com to see the day and times.

yeah they put a lot of em back on the air, and that after hours spot thing is getting to be pretty funny on hip hop nation, and since i'm a sucker for talk, i can keep with this.

Da After Hour Spot has always been funny, I just wish they could take calls in the overnight but they can't (atleast they couldn't the last time I heard). Its corny as hell to hear the VM from the da before programs on the next night program..uhhh..
