Hello, all, you know, I think XM does a better job of urban programming too. One thing I did notice when I replaced my XM receiver which was destroyed in a house fire, was that they had definitely, in my opinion, improved "The City". I didn't used to really like that music channel, but they've really improved on it now! I also like "The Flow" Suite 62 and The Groove. And The Rhyme is good also, a lot better than Backspin on Sirius. Raw is good, too. I know that there are only two hip hop channels on XM, and possibly this could be improved upon, but I think Siriu's three are a bit repetitious, I've found that Shade 45 and Hip Hop Nation and to a lesser extent Hot Jamz all sort of play about hte same thing. On The City I can also hear new R&B and new hip hop as well as Subsoniq, which, for me, takes a little to get used to if all you're used to is commercial radio, but once you get used to it, it's nice.

Sirius's problem is repetition, across the board. But as I've said, it seems that XM's music selections have improved, at least for The City and BPM, two of the channels I listened to the most on XM. I like The Beat on Sirius, but they seem too talkative and repitious.

I kind of like the personality and "radio feel" of Sirius, but XM's programming seems to be better. As far as the rock programming on XM, maybe they focus on a different demographic than Sirius, because there seem to be plenty of rock-oriented channels on XM.

My Sirius subscription is supposed to be running out in Decmeber, and I really need to seriously consider what I'm going to do, if I want to keep the subscription or not. I'm really considering just getting rid of it, or at least not renewing it. Another thing I like about XM is the commedy programming, I didn't find Siriu's commedy programming funny at all. And I also like the fact that XM carries the BBC feed, all of it, I mean the World Service, and not just "BBC World News". And as far as BBC Radio 1 on Sirius, that is OK, I like it, but then again, if I really wanted BBC Radio 1, I couldd listen to it online, and though they play some interesting music, and that keeps my attention from time to time, it's not something I'd keep a whole subscription for. OK, I know this post is all over the place, and a little off topic for this board. But, I listen to a little bit of everything! I'm hoping XM brings back, or at least, makes available on the receiver, soem of the world music channels, that they now only have available online. Although that is one advantage of XM, that if they take a channel off, you can almost always be able to fidn it online, so you're not totally at a loss.

OK, that's all for now, excuse the typos.
