Not sure if anyone even looks here anymore, but here goes.

I have a problem with my sirius player and widget (tried both).

They work fine if I am logged on my wife's user account in WinXP MCE, but neither will work if I log in to my WinXP MCE user account.

This leads me to believe there is a registry problem?!?!?!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Default Fixed It

I downloaded the new WMP/Urge.(Even though I don't like it very well) Apparently, my WMP was messed up somewhere and the new download fixed my issue. I must have corrupted it somehow.

Either way, SISO, I apologize for the other thread, but it didn't seem like anyone had looked at, or addressed my issue, so I posted in a different area. Thanks for setting me straight, though.

So I part with this....

Sirius - Love It! I am spreading the word daily as I mark out (that's Bubba talk) to Howard and Bubba to all my friends. Trying to get people to sign up and enjoy the Great Howard Stern and the very funny Bubba The Love Sponge.

Later...

Default Can't Get On-Line Player To Work

I've been listening to my on-line player at work for the past couple of months. Now suddenly, it doesn't work. I log in without a problem, and when I click on my channel, it connects and says "ready", but no sound!

What gives?

Go to the FAQ's, go to Sirius player and check the 10th tab:

10. Why does the player say it’s “ready” when I click on a channel, but no music is playing?
In order to ensure that the SIRIUS Player functions properly, you must set your browser to cache pages either automatically or to never cache them at all.

To do this in Internet Explorer, go to your browser's "Tools" menu, click on "Internet Options," then "Settings," then select "Never" or "Automatically," click "Apply" and then "Okay." This should resolve the problem.

For Netscape on Windows, go to your browser’s "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences," select "Advanced," then select "Cache." Under "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network" select "Every time I view the page" for best results

For Internet Explorer on Mac go to your browser's "Explorer" menu, choose "Preferences," then click on "Advanced." Under "Update Pages" select "Always" for best results.

These settings may vary from browser to browser.

that might help...

Default Sirius Player Problems?

Anyone aware of any problems with streaming music in the past couple of days. I don't know if it is a problem on the Sirius side, or whether the computer folks at my job are somehow blocking streaming. I've tried all of the recommendations on the Q&A, but no luck. It says "Ready", but no sound.

Chris, this is without a doubt my favorite online player. You update it regularly, and I know this player is new which makes the updates huge, but I have not seen you plug a new feature into this player that I didn't like. I absolutely love the fact that it checks for updates when I open it, that I can leave myself logged in all day, but stop the playing. This makes me not have to worry about using up all of my logins within a day. The form editor was another great addition! Optional channel icons, awesome! The new UI, unbelievable!

Okay, I know I was really patting Chris' back there, but this player is becoming very flexible which will make it all the more popular. Just try it out, I think you'll like it!

I am in class right now but that player looks great. I am emailing it home right now. I also forwarded it to 3 other people who are using the stock player. Thanks.

Post Sportster Replay

Hey, Im not sure this is the correct forum for this but the administrator won't let me start new threads. I am new to Sirius and an very happy to be non terrestrial. I am using the boom box as an alarm clock and was wondering if there was a way to set the alarm to turn on the radio without the beeping alarm with it.
Sirius is rocking my world.

Default Best Player

This is the best online player I've seen. Just installed it on all our computers. Thanks.

First of all, let me say that is a great player. It has all the features that the piece of crap Sirius player should have had a year ago.

My problem is that when I launch the application it constantly is trying to run a debugging session. It ends up making the software unusable. Any thoughts?
