What do you think?

No more than once per 24 hour period per stream, with the exception
of US1, then once per 12 hours if they really feel the need.

I think they could have a channel of Pink Floyd, Led Zep, and
RadioHead exclusively and still only need to play a song once every 40 hours or so.

Streams like US-1 will never go without repeats for 12 hours. You may get 4 hours, but that is probably pushing it. I do however agree that many if not most of the other streams should drop repeats to less than once a day or longer.

There are limited number of streams, so we can't have a stream for every ones likes, so we have to settle for something sort of inbetween that satisfies multiple subscribers. I'd like to see a nature music type stream or chill as someone called it. I'd also like a southern gospel stream too, since southern gospel actually outsells the chill format by a long shot and its not even represented on SIRIUS at all. However, I realize the chances of me getting one is pretty darn slim. Rumor has it that XM is considering it. If they do, I will definitely have XM again. Plus XM already has Audiovisions. I also like Watercolors.. mighty fine stream.

I think you're far too accepting of repetition on the non-top 40 streams. I personally don't think there should be a song repeated for SEVERAL DAYS, if not longer on the jazz, Soundscapes, classical, folk, reggae, album rock streams. There is a world of music out there, and SUBSCRIPTION RADIO should play as much and as diverse a selection as can be found anywhere. BTW-I agree with the previous poster-Watercolors on XM is a mighty fine channel. I had a rental car recently that had XM in it, and in the 48 hours I had it, I heard virtually NO REPETITION! I'm seriously considering getting XM, not to replace Sirius, but to augment it, since they seem to play a wider selection of artists in the genres I listen to-Contemporary Jazz & New Age. Sirius-you better turn the repetition_off!

Unfortunately Andrew, Watercolors is sort of an exception on XM in regards to how often it repeats as well. You'll begin to hear some songs over after about 24 hours, though it will be just a few here and there. This is the way all the streams should be on XM and SIRIUS. SIRIUS has improved somewhat, but still has too many songs repeating. Both of these companies have large music libararies and there is just NO sense in the repetition like this.. none at all.

I do realize that on AC type streams they are going to repeat much more often and that is okay to a degree, but I don't even give them much slack there.

Audiovisions is a great channel to sleep to. Very relaxing and calming.

I mainly listen to Jam Central, The Rock, and The Vault. Jam Central is by far the worst that I've noticed in terms of repetition. They play a wide variety of artists, but always the same songs from these artists. I have noticed in the last couple of days some new songs being played.
