jam bands and the vault should not have repeats in a 24 hour period.5 times in 12 hours is just way to much. the jam bands are the reason i went with sirius. i have 3 sirius and 1 xm. phone calls and e-mails have done nothing to aleviate the situation. hopefully venting here will help

I think having real programming people answering the phone and the emails, in real time, would certainly help a lot. They are totally disconnected from the audience.

To say that they will do more live shows and such when they get more subscribers is bass-ackwards thinking. This is the most crucial time in the development of the service. Input is needed now.

XM was really crappy when they started out, but they took requests and talked with the listeners and answered emails and the service has improved 1,000% on most channels. I was hoping Sirius would do the same, but instead they have hired some burn-outs with no subscription media track record to do the speaking for us. Therefore, in many aspects, Sirius deteriorates.

I see no difference between hearing "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring every day and an occasional commercial break.

I think I'd enjoy hearing tunes 3x in a row more than how I can consolidate my credit or join the army... but that's just me

Its called "different strokes for different folks". If you dig commericials by all means go to XM or back to FM.....nit picking is not a fine art, never has never will be.

So that means there are over 35 channels on XM that you NEVER EVER listen too? No doubt we need less repeats, but I find the above statement just XM propaganda... Strange that MOST of the channels I listned to on XM had them. But I agree with Coach... different strokes for different folks, you like the commercials, go for it. But don't sit here and pretend you never hear commercials on XM, cause that is just not believable, not based on my 6 or more months of having XM.

51 Music Lab is one example (to ME, of course) of where XM has completely creamed Sirius. It has no commercials.

rickets, may I ask why you subscribe to Sirius? Seriously dude, I've never heard of anyone stupid enough to keep paying for something they obviously hate. Just hook up with XM and stop your bitchin

Are you TRYING to make everyone around here miserable? You do a good job at it

ROTFLOL!!! Doesn't surprise me a bit. One thing about it, they can't get around those commercials no matter how hard they try. But its funny to watch them try. You'd have to avoid 35 of the MOST popular channels in order to NEVER hear any commercials and that is just BS. Of course we have had a few here that do seem to lock it in on a couple of channels and that is all, then they whine about repeats, so go figure! LOL

I've never seen such a display of neurotically defensive behavior.

I subscribe to both services. I own stock in both services and I complain (and have nice things to say) about both services.

This ''us versus them'' mentality is decidedly un-evolved.

People (not just me) are rethinking their committment to Sirius due to recent changes in the music mixes. That is a fact. Those of us who feel this way are expressing ourselves in an honest manner.

To adopt this ''love it or leave it " (covet it or kiss-off???) attitude toward us is mental knuckle-dragging. Instead of immediately springing into a ''sez you'' mindset, try a little empathy. Assume for a moment that there is some truth in what we say. Try to figure out our motivation for speaking-out and exposing ourselves to these insults.

I looked at a program guide, and the channels I would like to listen to on XM all had commercials. Of course they put the commercials on the channels that have the broadest appeal, this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
