Default RHAPSODY VS SIRIUS - RHAPSODY HAS MORE SONGS

I got a sample disc of Rhapsody at BB for $20 for 3 months. After that it's $10 pr mo. They give you a free disc and 10 free songs. Then you can burn for .79. And it's LEGAL

I like to listen to the Big 80s on Siri but they have a limited play list in my opinion. I swear, I hear WHAM evrey damn time I turn the radio on. Within 3 days of typing songs on Rhapsody I have doubled the size of Siri's play list for 80s hits. I'm listening right now. These are the songs I danced to while clubbing in the 80s.

I'll be submitting 90s hits next. I was disappointed with Siri's PULSE 90s. It's not like the 80s HITS.

I'll doubt if I'll ever drop Siri because of the sports but I'm thinking of adding Rhapsody to make up for Siri's lack of songs.

Siriusly.

As nice as those services are, you can't get them in the car.

I used Rhapsody for several months before I was turned onto Sirius. I enjoyed the service, mainly for having the vast library of music. I signed up when they were giving away 15-day free trials and 5 free song to burn to CD.

My main complaints were they were slow (if at all) to get new releases. There were also lots of artists I liked but Rhapsody only had one or two of their many cd titles. Also I was disappointed they didn't have a method to download songs to/for portable mp3 players (like you can with most other online music services). You can of course burn the CD, and then rip it back onto your computer, but thats more work than necessary.

I switched to Sirius and dropped Rhapsody, didn't want to pay for both at the same time. I enjoy Sirius service better cause its radio, and all I have to do is pick a channel. I've never liked compiling music playlists cause I don't get that element of surprise and impulsive effect of a song when listening. Plus Sirius in the car is a major plus!

If had the $$, I would have kept Rhapsody.

Sirius vs. Rhapsody? Two very different services. Not fair to compare a Radio service to a mp3 service. Sirius gives you a 100 plus buffet of talk/sports and music. Currents & Special remixes that Rhapsody probably doesn't have. For 80's music, I guess cherry picking your favorite songs that Big 80's doesnt play is fun but doesnt that get boring after awhile? No Nina and Mark. No Imaging. No requests. Just the songs you know you paid for at .79 a piece. Plus it adds up and must get expensive. Plus you might not know whats "NEW" out there to look when downloading mp3s without Sirius.

Not everyone has the time whereas Sirius is convenient to alot of working folks!

I have Rhapsody also, it not too bad but it has some pretty big holes in what it offers (no beatles is the most sited example but numerous others). In high school I used to tape off the radio the songs I liked. Tracking them down on Rhapsoday I would say about 1/3 are not available (almost all were top 40 songs, nothing to obscure). I guess the most frustrating is one hit wonders who offer all their music except the one song worth listening to. I also was suprised to find out that while that are adding songs they have rights to they are also losing rights to songs they had previously. Several songs in my playlist are no longer available.
Their radio stations leave something to be desired, the only good thing is you can skip through songs you don't like but it clearly is a random jukebox.
