You left out a new channel addition to the R&B /Urban Category- channel 54- The Express (Old School and Funk favorites). This format has been called for since the orginal Express was pulled over 2 years ago, 7 dance channels but only 4 urban? Lets check the missing genres again. FUNK is high on that list!

The original poster moved Praise 54 to 88 in his suggestions. Therfore, if 54 is open it would make a great place for THE EXPRESS. I do not want Praise to be deleted either, but moving it somewhere else is ok. I am not sure about 7 dance channels either. In the overall scope of things, that would give dance over 10% of all music channels. I do not think 10% of the radio music listening audience listens to dance/electronica. Im all in favor of expanding music choices, but realistic decsions have to be made also.

I would combine Classic Vinyl/Rewind and the Vault, automatically give that channel a deeper playlist. And with the new classic rock on one channel, I'd give the spectrum a newer/deeper music focus (although it's been doing pretty good lately).

And either have Hard Attack play integrate more industrial into it's playlist, or create an industrial stream. Give it a name like 'The Machine' or something like that. Good lists overall.

Leave the classic channels alone, combining them would not be good at all. The way they are arranged and split now makes the most sense. I do not want deeper tracks included with Vinyl or Rewind classic cuts. By having several channels, each one can concentrate on an specific era/genre or depth. Last year the classic rock programming spilt into the present manner we have now on Sirius, it works- do not go back to antyhing less.

Then all you have to do is add commericals and you've got the same tired FM radio again. Not what I'm subscribing for, not worth paying $13 a month for, if it wasn't for the NON-Classic Rock channels I wouldn't bother.
