Default I'm Back!

After 6 months of not having Sirius I'm back. I'm now one of those who can say that they subscribe to both services. I missed Sirius mostly because of the reception that we get here in Canada. The reason I canceled was my small protest against the repetition on the music channels. My wife missed the two great channels of Classic Vinyl and Classic Rewind, so now I'm back. This past winter we bought a new car and the stereo system that it came with was not that good. We got new JVC head unit installed. (JVC KD-AR 560) The difference was very noticeable and tunes were great again. I've been a Pioneer fan for many years but this JVC unit is easy to use and I liked the large display and like said the quality of sound. Well this head Unit is Sirius ready so I ordered a SIR-JVC1 tuner last month and it finally arrived this week. Got it installed yesterday and activated and now I'm back. No more wires from the antenna's, lighter and axillary to content with, just a nice clean install. We're going on vacation next week so having Sirius with us will make the trip even better.

Thanks to many posters on this form who have helped me decide on this set up. The information that one can get here is most helpful.

Sirius Backstage is awesome.
Thanks Ed

Welcome back Ed. As many will atest to, Sirius may not be perfect (even an ipod isnt),but it sure beats regular radio. I think the repeat issue has been addressed quite a bit since you last had Sirius, and is improving all the time. Let us know how the trip goes. PS Ive been thru your town on my way to Alaska.

Glad to hear you are back with the

I couldn't imagine being without Sirius in the car for 6 months so I can understand how you feel. Traveling without satellite radio would be hard to bear. Sirius has made many long trips enjoyable for me.

Let us know how your trip with your new setup goes
