Hey, I am trying to put this to rest for the mods. Just run along. You have no clue. It's ok, I didn't mean to insult you, but you are not going to win this battle I assure you. So for both our sakes and the mods, just move along!!
No. I'm having way too much fun yanking your emotionally unstable chain.
oh, I'm all good now. No emotions here. I do get a little worked up when people say dumb things about people on a MB, but other then that. It's all cake!! I realize the type of person you are, so I can't get worked up anymore!!

If you were honestly worried about people saying dumb things, you'd have to be quiet for the rest of your life.

I would have to be quiet, you teach me that some people just can't be taught!! Some will desire to remain clueless for the rest of their life!! Good luck with that!!

Don't speak ill of yourself. I think if you acquired some intellectual honesty, you could be taught and wouldn't desire to remain clueless the rest of your life.

It's ok, if you read a little more, then maybe your IQ level will graduate from 1st to at least a 2nd grade level!! I'm sure you have it in you!! Just work a little harder!! You can study a little while going from one toilet to the other in your job and get paid for it.

Please keep this thread on topic or I will lock it.

Also, stop quoting quotes. It makes a mess and makes the thread difficult to read.

Any other edited songs being played?

Here is one thing I really dont understand...will Sprint customers only have access to these four clean channels? Cant they just as easily move to an uncensored channel? I dont see why Sprint would care about having a few clean ones if others are not.....unless they wont get all the music channels.

Im still of the belief that if they want to make a few new edited channels just for new partners like Sprint to offer then thats fine....but dont suddenly alter channels that were intended to be uncensored from the start.
I've heard Megalomaniac by Incubus in Alt Nation, cencored...sounded terrible...And for some reason it seems that ever since Alt Nation has gone censored, they've been playing this track by Incubus more than usual, I guess maybe to sink in the fact and to get listeners to get used to the censorship. I too have heard NIN "only" on alt nation, censored. What a shame, and a slap in the face to all us sirius subscribers.

Sorry Jeff.

I haven't heard anything on Faction censored yet. But I guess I will avoid Alt Nation.

Gee, the way some people in this thread were talking, I thought about every other song on Faction was being censored.

Now we're told that NONE of the songs have been censored yet.

I guess the sky isn't falling after all.

hi jeff,

i realize that this is your site, but locking a thread because of individual people, is not fair to the rest of the posters. that happened to me a long time ago, that a thread was locked due to someone else's comments.

what that really reminds me of is my grade school teacher making all of us stay after school, until someone admitted to doing something - which they almost never did anyways.

i think that behavior is acceptable in the army, because the sergeant is attempting to get the message across that every one's life is dependent on everyone else.

but in discussion forums, those people that are causing the problem should be the ones that are disciplined, not the forum itself.

if you have the ability to lock individuals from a thread, that might be the first best course of action. if not, then locking individuals from the forum for a time, after being warned.

anyways, my two cents.

I was SOOO psyched to subscribe to Sirius around Christmas time (when 3g wearable arrives and right before Howard comes in January); i'm now having second thoughts.

I'm a big fan of alternative music-both 80's alternative and 90's-00's alternative, as well as a mild fan of punk music. So, needless to say, these "sanitizations" would DEFINITLY affect me in a negative way.

Censor the pop category. DO NOT censor the Rock category! Add an "XL" type of tag if needbe but do NOT go the FM route of censorship!

Default My response from Sirius (my message is at the bottom)

This was my attempt to just give my opinion. apparently it didn't matter. What I gleaned from this was to unsubsacribe. In your right to cancle clause you have to cancle with in 30 days of a change.... Seems a little covert that you have music being sanitised but not the DJ's?

Grrrrrr.

Original Message Follows:
------------------------
So please tell me why your customers who pay you for this service are
the ones getting "Screwed" here I pay for a service with Sirius so that
I can here the music I like where I like in its entirety. I understand
that you have made an obligation to Sprint -- however you made an
obligation to your paying customers as well. -- what sold me no
comercials and no censorship -- Now folks who are partial subscribers
(i.e.. your sprint customers) are setting the bar for the rest of us.
If
the wanted a lighter version of those stations then give them that but
dont take away what has already been given to us.

This really sucks,

John

Did you not read the message I posted? Its all there.

Very bottom after her response is my original message.

And though I do appreciate your candor telling me that if I'm nice they will be too, however I have no contract that I signed that says I cannot be upset when they make some random half assed change on a whim. At least whim fits because I don't know about you but I didn't get an email or letter from them notifying me of changes since I am a paying customer I would have been a nice thing. Most other service businesses will give that sort of courtesy.
